Triple J’s like a version series has brought some really incredible covers like Joey Bada$$’ take on Prince, Snakehips and MØ doing a cover of Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” and many more. For the latest in the series, Goldlink has decided to cover Pharrell’s “Frontin’” alongside a full band.

While Goldlink is best known for his rapping, he holds his own singing this one joined by keys, backing vocals, guitar, bass drums and even a flute. Goldlink’s soulful style shines here as he follows up his recent Grammy nomination for “Crew.”

A$AP Rocky Sings On New Thirty Seconds To Mars Song "One Track Mind"

A$AP Rocky has been teasing his forthcoming album for some time now and although this isn’t a new A$AP Rocky song, it’s a unexpected collaboration that may hold you over a bit longer. This time he’s linked up with Thirty Seconds To Mars on their new single “One Track Mind.

Each feature Rocky has been on lately shows a different side to the Harlem rapper, and this one showcases him singing opposed to delivering a rapping verse. Rocky has said a that his new album has him experimenting with different sounds and he’s shared a few snippets and demo tracks leading up to any official announcement, although he has said his album is done. Autograf just recently shared their refreshing future bass song “Hope For Tomorrow” with Klingande and Dragonette and show no signs of slowing down. The sound design on this new song “Dead Soon” takes a cinematic approach, giving the track a sort of epic feeling overall. They combine uplifting piano melodies with the alluring vocals while letting the thick synths in the drop shine. Enjoy!
