The Chainsmokers Release Huge Single "Closer" Feat. Halsey: Listen

The Chainsmokers - Closer Feat. Halsey

The Chainsmokers look to repeat the chart-topping success of their single "Don't Let Me Down" with "Closer" feat. Halsey. The song, once rumored to be titled "We Ain't Ever Getting Older", has been generating buzz ever since the duo premiered it live with Halsey at their Bonnaroo performance earlier this year and hopes to fill big shoes.

Both "Roses" and "Don't Let Me Down" have garnered mainstream success and radio attention, in addition to about 390 million Spotify streams a piece. However, "Closer" may contain the right ingredients to deliver the way its predecessors did. The indie dance tune holds down a mellow beat, a bubbly lead and a super catchy hook that showcases the duo's very own Drew Taggert on the mic.

While the production is rather straightforward in structure, its simplicity perfectly caters to the song's melodies and songwriting. Watch the "Closer" lyric video below and let us know in the comment section if you believe The Chainsmokers have landed themselves another hit!

Valentino Khan & Skrillex - Slam Dunk : Massive Trap Collaboration

VK Skrillex Slam Dunk

The best way to figure out if a song will hit is by playing it out, right? Well, that's exactly what Skrillex and Valentino Khan did with their "Slam Dunk" collaboration on OWSLA. The track made its first run of live appearances in October 2015, according to 1001Tracklists, and was rinsed by everyone from Getter to Party Favor to Jack U.

Skrillex x Rick Ross - Purple Lamborghini : Massive Trap / Hip-Hop Collaboration

The song made its OWSLA Radio debut on episode 12, allowing for its jungle terror core to reverberate across the Beats 1 airwaves. "Slam Dunk" features Kansas City rapper Kstylis -- known as the "king of twerk" -- who receives the nostalgic autotune treatment in the hook. Cherub Announces New Album "Bleed Gold, Piss Excellence" & Share First Single

Cherub Bleed Gold Piss Excellence

One of our favorite duos, Nashville-based Cherub, are back with with some exciting news after non-stop touring and festival circuit domination. They have a brand new, full-length album on the way titled Bleed Gold, Piss Excellence, which is quite the name.

Along with the news, we’re treated with the record’s lead lead single of the same name, and it's also quite the track. We hear an expansion on their signature sexy sound complete with a more funky punch of talkbox vocal and a beastly bassline. Jordan cleverly offers hilarious commentary instead of a verse with a line midway through showing he’s hit quite the humorous point of his career.

"This is supposed be where another verse goes, but who cares, verses don't matter, you don't matter either, I don't matter either, well so what's the point.."

We've been replaying this track and couldn't be more excited for the rest of the album. Stream below and enjoy!
