Rising Artist Two Feet Drops Must-Hear Two Track EP

Two Feet EP Artwork

The Harlem based artist Two Feet dropped an impressive new two track EP made up of “Love Is A Bitch” and “Had Some Drinks” on their TSIS debut. This package release is following his four track EP First Steps which he dropped last year and was also an incredible. He recently participated in his first tour which he brought his buddy hufford to create a live duo with Two Feet on guitar/vocals and hufford on beats/synths. With an indie electronic sound resembling Bob Moses, Two feet is certainly on artist to keep on your radar.

The first track “Love Is A Bitch” is slow and darkly romantic with exaggerated guitar plucks and haunting synths. It’s an incredibly sexy song with impressively fitting vocals. Second track, “Had Some Drinks”, is a bit more up-tempo but still keeps that relaxed vibe. It’s got a super cool low synth that works really well with the standout guitar riff and straightforward drums. Enjoy!

Listen To Lemaitre’s New Heavy-Hitting Single “Higher” (feat. Maty Noyes)

TSIS-favorite electronic duo Lemaitre has just dropped an unexpected new single and it’s sounding great! The duo seems to have been hard at work since we last featured their collaboration with The Knocks, and today they’ve shared their new single “Higher” featuring Maty Noyes.

For their latest offering, the Norwegian-born, Los Angeles-based Lemaitre have enlisted the vocals of fellow LA singer Maty Noyes (who listeners might recognize from The Weeknd’s “Angel” and Kygo’s “Stay”). “Higher” starts off with Maty’s melancholic vocals sitting atop a dark piano and distorted guitar melody. The track quickly progresses into an unexpected drop filled with bright synths, abrasive bass and powerful percussion.

Check out Lemaitre’s  “Higher” (feat. Maty Noyes) below and look out for their new album Chapter One, dropping June 2 on Astralwerks. Enjoy!

Weekly Chill Playlist Vol. 14 Ft. 21 Chill Tracks From Medasin, Flying Lotus, Slow Magic & More

Weekly Chill 14 Artwork

We’re back with the latest edition of Weekly Chill! For those of you unfamiliar, each week we make a new 20ish-track playlist with some of our favorite recent chill releases both from some of our favorite artists we cover and some rising newcomers.

Some standouts from this week are DROELOE & San Holo’s new collab, as well as Medasin’s take on Portugal. The Man and Flying Lotus’ first releases in some time. For rising artists, XXXTENTACION has made a name for himself through aggressive raps but shows off his versatility and sounds more like Modest than a rapper on his new self-produced track. Other rising artists to check out are Farr, The Pheels, and Sigrid. Enjoy!
