THEY. Drop Catchy R&B Single “Silence” Ahead Of Debut Album

THEY Press Shot Silence

With their debut album Nu Religion: HYENA dropping Friday Feb. 24, THEY. are launching #THEYWEEK dropping four new tracks this week leading up to the album. Today we have a dreamy new song "Silence" from the genre-blending duo that's been premiered via Julie Adunuga's Beats 1 radio show.

For those unfamiliar with the TSIS favorite hip-hop duo, don’t worry we have you covered. We just linked up with THEY. to launch our new "Don’t Sleep On" interview series that highlights sick rising artists you need to become familiar with. This new song “Silence” is a soulful, trappy R&B song showing off the duo’s versatility as it captures a more atmospheric, airy vibe while maintaining the nighttime aesthetic their other singles have captured. The soulful tune makes use of slightly eerie melodies with backing vocals and police sirens used as a background textures behind the hard-hitting percussion.

[PREMIERE] Modern Measure Make TSIS Debut For Trippy Future Bass Single “Phoenix”

Modern Measures Phoenix

Modern Measure are making their TSIS debut for their latest album single “Phoenix”. The Atlanta-based duo infuse live instruments with their electronic productions capturing a hybrid sound that caught our attention on their latest song

We’re premiering “Phoenix” early off their upcoming album For The Moment dropping Friday 2/24 via STS9’s 1320 records. On this catchy tune they combine organic percussion and piano with layers of textured productions and glitchy vocal chops in a unique way that works together effortlessly. The sound design has a live future bass styling that can connect in both the electronic and live worlds. See tour dates below and enjoy!
