Maggie Rogers Delivers Upbeat New Single "Split Stones"

Maggie Rogers split stones

Maggie Rogers quickly became a favorite of ours with the release of her viral song “Alaska” which won over the hearts of her countless fans. Now the young, quickly rising artist has teamed up with The North Face for her latest single “Split Stones.”

“I took the first sound samples for ‘Split Stones’ on a month-long backpacking trip in Oregon during the summer of 2013; I’ve been collecting samples and piecing the song together in bedroom studios and trails ever since. I’m super excited about combining the two things I love-technology and the environment-to create a way that people can hear the song, but also feel a little bit a part of the action and process that inspired it.” - Maggie Rogers

With her signature sound blending electronic and organic elements, her sound is the perfect fit for the nature-based campaign. After the success Rogers saw with “Alaska,” the overnight sensation went on to release her impressive 5-track EP Now That The Light Is Fading and has shared her first single since. “Split Stones” maintains the signature indie electronic vibe we’ve come to love from Maggie with a more upbeat vibe as the track contains samples of nature she’s collected herself. Enjoy!

Watch Louis Futon & GRiZ Flip Tyler, The Creator’s “See You Again” In New Video

Louis Futon Griz

Louis Futon has been a wizard with his “Beat Challenge” videos and now he’s linked up with none other than GRiZ on his latest. This time around the two have linked up for an impressive flip of Tyler, The Creator’s “See You Again.”

These videos Louis Futon does are always entertaining as he shows the step-by-step process of how they re-create the original song into their own. After asking fans what song they should take on, they settled on “See You Again” and did not disappoint. They show how they pitch & chop the original, add drums, guitar, bass, more guitar, and sax as the two TSIS favorites switch off duties complimenting each other perfectly. See the video process below and stay tuned for the full remix. Enjoy!

Juicy J Links Up With A$AP Rocky & $uicideboy$ On "Freaky" + Full 'Highly Intoxicated' Mixtape

Juicy J ASAP Rocky

Juicy J just linked up with A$AP Rocky and $uicidebuy$ for a next level collaboration “Freaky.” The track was just released as part of Juicy J’s 18-track Highly Intoxicated mixtape out now.

The full project brings features from Wiz Khalifa, XXXTentacion, Cardi B, Rick Ross, Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi and more. We previously heard Juicy J and Rocky link up on “Multiply” as well as D.R.A.M's "Gilligan" and they two are back at it showing off an obvious chemistry. The production and last couple verses on the track come courtesy of $uicidebuy$, who have been killing it lately with an unreal output of music as of late. Rocky’s recent features have mainly been hooks so it’s great to hear him deliver a full verse on this new collab. Stream "Freaky" as well as the full project below and enjoy!
