Mystery Producer 1788-L Stuns With Glitchy Original "C Y B E R S P A C E"

1788L Cyberspace

With the rate that 1788-L is cranking out tracks we’re starting to really believe he’s a robot. The enigmatic producer has been dropping a mix of twisted remixes and ear-bending originals that have firmly established his unique brand of glitchy electronica as a SoundCloud staple. When crafting a remix 1788-L isn’t afraid to take on some of the biggest names in electronic music – the producer’s budding discography already includes remixes of Illenium, Skrillex, and Kraftwerk.

“C Y B E R S P A C E” is 1788-L’s latest original and it features the robotic vocals, ominous buildups, and powerful bass we’ve come to expect from the mysterious producer. 1788-L doesn’t make you wait on this one as the buildup abruptly switches from a static soundscape to an electro-house, mid-tempo bump that sounds as if REZZ hopped in the studio with Justice. Stick around for the second drop and you’re in for a sonic experience that sounds like it belongs in a horror movie as piercing synths grab the listener’s attention in between moments of grinding bass. Enjoy!

NGHTMRE & Pell Link Up For Smooth Hip-Hop EP "Magic Hour"

nghtmre x pell

NGHTMRE and Pell just dropped a hip-hop EP called “Magic Hour” and we’re loving this unexpected collab. NGHTMRE has been flirting with hip-hop production for a while, dropping a chilled out track with PnB Rock and Wiz Khalifa last fall and teasing an unreleased banger with A$AP Ferg at EDC Las Vegas. Now NGHTMRE has gone all-in on the genre and we love this side of his production.

The two-track EP includes the songs “Swiss” and “Lights Low”, two tracks that pair NGHTMRE’s chilled-out, melancholy production with Pell’s smooth flow for a hypnotizing listen. “Swiss” has a swing to it that makes it perfect for a chill session with friends, while “Lights Low” is a darker, reflective track better suited for a serious listen. Enjoy!

It seems like every other week Whethan blesses us with a new single that gives us a glimpse at where he’s taking his unique style of electronic music. Tracks like his funky bootleg of Clairo’s “Pretty Girl” embrace his future bass roots while his dark original “Be Like You” ft. Broods displays an emerging experimental side to his sound. Today Whethan has teamed up with singer-songwriter duo Oh Wonder to deliver the vibrant, uplifting song “Superlove”

This track effortlessly flows between low-key verses, addicting hooks and groovy drops thanks to Whethan’s expert production and Oh Wonder’s polished vocals. It’s easy to get caught up in the buoyant vibes on “Superlove” and as the chords fade on the track you won’t want to come back down. Enjoy!
