Founded Thissongissick back in 2010 because I was tired of filling up my friends iPods with all the cool music I was finding. I'm the current ring leader of the company though I still write for the site often. When I'm not traveling to music festivals, you can find me in my home city of Denver.

Rusko Curates 37 Song Dubstep Throwback Playlist Filled With Classics : Exclusive

rusko dubstep playlist

One of our favorite dubstep pioneers, Rusko, came back on the map in a massive way this year after battling cancer, jumping fully back in the festival circuit and releasing a brand new EP we've been loving. Well we teamed up with him to have him curate an custom Spotify playlist for us featuring not 10 or 20, but 37 of his favorite dubstep classics. This includes tracks like Flux Pavilion's "Cracks," Skrillex's "Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites" and Knife Party's "Centipede" among others.

The playlist is filled with songs that have inspired Rusko over the years including some of his own favorite releases.

Listen through the nearly three-hour playlist and make sure to share with a friend to remember the golden days or to someone just breaking into the genre. Enjoy!

Tomorrowland Winter Is New 7 Day Snow & Music Festival Atop The French Alps

Tomorrowland Winter logo

One of possibly the most epic sounding electronic festivals on the planet just got announced. The promoters behind Tomorrowland, the massive globally popular electronic festival are throwing Tomorrowland Winter a brand new festival over March 9th - 16th, 2019. Yes that's over a year away.

The festival will be taking place at one of the top ski resorts in the world Alpe D'Huez which is in the heart of the French Alps. Unlike other winter festivals, they are doing a full takeover of the ski resort and all people will be festival attendees which helps create the magical festival experience. This will also be 30,000 people.

There are two options for how to attend the festival with a "mysterious 7 day package" or a "fantastic 4 day package", which of course the mysterious package sounds like the way to go.

The packages include lodging, mountain passes to ski / snowboard for the entire time and access to the festival which takes place March 13th - 15th.

There are stages and areas spread all throughout the mountain / festival as you can see by their graphics.

You should start planning now, but you do have some time since 7 day packages go on sale September 8th and 4 day packages on September 15th.

You can watch the trailer below.
