5 Different Versions of Kid Cudi’s Pursuit of Hapiness ft. MGMT + Ratatat

So as many of you may have noticed I like my Kid Cudi, and some of you probably have heard of his singles from his last album Pursuit of Happiness which features MGMT and Ratatat. With this all star lineup how could the song not be sick. Well it is very sick and alot of other people thought so as well. I have for you now the original, an acoustic cover, a dubstep mix, a Steve Aoki dance mix, and a dubstep remix of the Steve Aoki version. And although I don’t plan on you liking all the versions I wanted to show everyone diverse one song can get. Well first up we’ve got the original which is song I really do enjoy. If you haven’t heard the original, enjoy that first then work your way down and i’m sure you’ll find the version for you. Let me know which your favorite is and enjoy!

I would have to say my favorite is still the original, but this dance mix done by Steve Aoki is pretty banger. This is one to turn the speakers up and get a party started to. You will not be disappointed with this high energy packed remix.

Next up we’ve actually got a remix of a remix haha. Shows how remix crazy this generation is with music, well this groupÂ did a heavier dubstep version of the Steve Aoki dance mix. If you like dubstep you’ll love it, if not might be a little much for you.

Now lastly we’ve got a change of pace, we’ve actually got an acoustic cover done by the group Barbara. Now some of you may not like it, but I think it’s a breathe of fresh air, especially if you get a little sick of the remixes after listening to 3 of them haha. Well it’s definitely worth a listen and I know some of you will love it.

have been obsessed with the barbara “cover” ever since i heard it maybe two months ago. it’s actually a mash-up of iron and wine’s “trapeze swinger” and cudi. i really like these other mixes though. i think for me my preferences would be barbara, original, slink, aoki.
