One of my favorite things to post up here, is new versions of classic tracks that you know. Well today I’ve got a new track featuring a sample from the 90′s hit, Chumbawamba – Tubthumping (Get Knocked Down). It’s from the duo of electro house producer Acetronik & mashup artist 3LAU who brought you the recent Journey mashup. Now the 90′s sample they use may not be your favorite 90′s anthem, it’s a track most of you will remember, so it’s only right it gets turned into a sick new dance banger. Sol – Stage Dive : Refreshing Chill Upbeat Hip Hop

I’m very excited to give you a new hip hop track, that’s without a doubt one of my favorite chill tracks I’ve posted on the site in awhile. It’s got a very well done refreshing vibe to it, that makes you want to hit repeat a couple times. It’s from Sol, the laid back rapper who brought you Dear Friends, Vol III. Well this track has got a great beat, then Sol coming in with a very on point flow and rhythm. Hearing real music like this is refreshing in the midst of so many rappers not offering much other then trying to be famous. This is off his upcoming EP which I can’t wait for. Enjoy!

Dada Life – Happy Violence (Special Features Remix) (Thissongissick Premiere)

Today I’ve got a premiere of the winner for Dada Life’s recent remix contest for Happy Violence. They had a bunch of great producers take the song in a bunch of different directions. The winner of the contest was Special Features, the talented young gun who made the vicious remix to Deadmau5 – Strobe. For this one he takes the very massive energetic electro house track, and then gave it a softer dance / disco feel. He still maintains to get that energy from the original, but a a fresh new feel. Radical Something – Sun Down (Music Video) (New HQ Version) : Chill Acoustic Hip Hop [New HQ Mastered]

Today I’ve got some very cool visuals to one of the laid back tracks off of Radical Something’s We Are Nothing album, as long as an unreleased newly recorded HQ mp3 of the track. This video shows both singers Loggy and Josh running around with their friends throughout California. There are a few scenes of them driving to what looks like an epic spot to see the sunset, with blankets wrapped around them. I’m sure some of you guys can relate as I’ve done the same here in Boulder many times, as well as when visiting CA, especially after an epic night, just to give it the perfect ending. This was a great track off the album, and now the guys gave us the exclusive HQ newly mastered version of the song, never been released before. Chill out, enjoy!

Seems like everybody is giving around the holidays. Deadmau5 just dropped this track for free, it’s an Xmas mix of his popular anthem with Kaskade ‘I Remember’. Today I’ve got a track that can be listened to at any hour of the day. From waking up, to getting some work done, to raging at night, this song is perfect. I’m here with my family on Christmas day and figured I’d let them describe how it sounds. From my 14 year old sister “Part of it you just wanna chill, and  part of it you just wanna get up and groove” I couldn’t agree more haha. It hits the perfect blend of laid back chill vibes mixed with an upbeat rhythm that does make you make want to move. It’s a remix of Mad World (The song used in Donnie Darko, pictured above) done by Manic Focus, the guy who recently brought the Red Hot Chili Peppers – Dani California Remix which has a similiar sound. Today I’ve got an amazing christmas gift from one of my favorite names in Dubstep, Rusko. It’s a 16 song remix album composed of all the remixes he’s released from 2006 to 2010. It consists of some from Kid Cudi’s ‘Day n Nite’ to his famous Kid Sister – Pro Nails remix, and so many more in between. It ranges from his super filthy dubstep to alot more of his more melodic chiller stuff that I think is the sickest. Today I’ve got the ultimate new raging track, and this should please all the fans, from the hard hitting electro house heads, to hose who love hip hop, and everyone who just wants to party. I’ve got a filthy electro house remix from dutch house producer Chuckie of the song ‘Good Fucking Night’ by Roscoe Dash. Chuckie makes some great club / party remixes, but he’s more of that car alarm dutch house sound, but for this he has a more hard hitting electro filth style, reminding me of the track Personal Griefers by Deadmau5. Today I’ve got a great mix of some real fast and talented sounding hip hop vocals from Yelwolf, remixed by Kill the Noise. He has been killing it lately, and just recently did a remix of Yelawolf’s ‘Growin’ Up In The Gutter’. The outcome is pretty filthy, and is packed with a ton of bass. I love the blend of hip hop and filthy bass, especially when it works well like this track. Turn it up, enjoy!
