Coachella 2011 Lineup: Some of the Best Dj’s, Rappers, and Bands

Posted in Events by nick | Tags: , , , ,

So everyone has probaly heard of Coachella music festival which takes place in California ever year, and if you haven’t fo some reason, say hello to the one of the best festivals of the year. It always has the sickest most diverse lineup of Hip-Hop, Rock, and Electronic music which enough headliners in each category to please everyone. There’s always fake lineups getting released, and now we finally get the real lineup, and it is sooo sick. This year taking place April 15-17th. Out of the hip-hop area, I’m most excited for Kanye, as I have never seen the man perform live. Also very stoked on Nas and Damian, Wiz Khalifa and Tinie Tempah. In the electronic area I’m looking forward to Ratatat, Chromeo, Boys Noize, Crystal Castles, Afrojack, Duck Sauce, Paul van Dyk, Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Skrillex, Steve Angello and Axwell of Swedish House Mafia, and even thought Daft Punk isn’t on the lineup, there’s been strong evidence saying this is going to be their first show of the year, so I’m the most stoked on Daft Punk. Now over in the Indie swing of things, stoked for The Radio Dept., Empire of the Sun, The Black Keys, Animal Collective, and Ellie Goulding among others. There’s a bunch I didn’t mention, I know. Who are you stoked for?

  • Lauryn Hill>Every other band…SHE IS A LEGEND.

  • I personally think its pretty awesome Lil B is getting to play Coachella.

  • Oh Man April 17th is gonna be the best!!!!!

  • that lineup looks unbelievably sick

such a pity i cant go, i would be STOKED

  • Death from above 1979 reuniting!!! so sick

  • A better question would be who I am NOT stoked for. Seriously, this entire lineup is incredible. I’m definitely going to buy a ticket now.

  • Plan B, Skrillexxxx, Bloody beetroots, Caspa, Duck Sauce, Chromeo, Wiz, Ratatat, 12th planet, A- track, Sleigh bells, Jack beats, Nas, Crystal Castles….. and hell yeah for death from above 1979…. ugh I think I would have a heart attack if I went from such good music!!!!

  • Death from Above 1979! Just need to find a reasonable hotel!

  • not to say I wouldn’t be incredibly stoked to go see this, because i would.. but i would be lying if I said that this line-up comes close to comparing with Coachella of the past. That’s just my opinion and you can say what you want, but I think the whole seeing “KINGS OF LEON” as the first thing on the flyer pretty much ruined it for me.

  • Line up looks sick, but check out Ultra Musica Festival. Gonna be crazzzzyyy!!

  • basically, I could care less about the other bands but theyre nice add ons, death from above 1979 is the reason to go to coachella, cause they gonna kill it.

  • last years line-up was better!!! If DAFT PUNK is playing im there!!!!!
