Today I’ve got a premiere of the winner for Dada Life’s recent remix contest for Happy Violence. They had a bunch of great producers take the song in a bunch of different directions. The winner of the contest was Special Features, the talented young gun who made the vicious remix to Deadmau5 – Strobe. For this one he takes the very massive energetic electro house track, and then gave it a softer dance / disco feel. He still maintains to get that energy from the original, but a a fresh new feel. When I moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder I got exposed to some of the sickest music around. My name is Nick Guarino and I love music and especially showing people new music.
