Today I’m excited to bring you an exclusive new track from Oakland based hip hop collective Hieroglyphics, (Featuring Del the Funk Homosapien, Pep Love, Souls of Mischief, etc). Well these talented rappers teamed up with one of our favorite clothing companies Akomplice to create some real sick collaboration items and an exclusive track, similar to the Eligh of Living Legend – Music Dies song / shirt. This song ‘Slaughter’ is a real sick hip hop track with a refreshing organic sounding beat, and amazing lyricism from every rapper on the track. I think Dylan Owen will really hit his stride after his part on the most recent release with Fortune Family – Dream ft. Grace Kelly. The way he just jumped out of the gate on his verse was sickkkkkk… this song is sick type of sickkkk! Anyway I hope to hear more of him.

Machine Gun Kelly is known by many but not really fully appreciated by the mainstream crowd. His Rage Pack mixtape showed a different direction producing wise with some poppy samples and beats (mainstream society loves songs they can hop around and dance to so could be a smart step towards a bigger audience). He also did a show not too long ago with an appearance from Drake showing that he’s interacting and collaborating with big mainstream artists. Two moves that put him in a very good position to move up in the music industry very soon.

When I moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder I got exposed to some of the sickest music around. My name is Nick Guarino and I love music and especially showing people new music.
