Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – My Oh My: Storytelling Hip-Hop Music Video

Posted in Chill, Video by nick | Tags: , , , ,

Here’s the incredibly well done music video for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis‘s latest single, a tribute to Sports Announcer Dave Niehaus, My Oh My. I posted the song and now we get an amazing visual. The song and video are so well done, that I feel like I grew up listening to Dave, even though this was my first time hearing him. As you know I really think everything that Macklemore and Ryan Lewis do is pure gold. Enjoy!

Also I’ve tried to keep the site mainly to songs, and I started ThisVidIsSick to showcase all the videos, but I’m gonna start posting some of the best up here as well, comment with thoughts below.

Absolutely incredible. I’m from Seattle, and this video brought back so many ridiculous memories. The fireworks, the kingdome, jay buhner’s tabacco patch in right field, the implosion, and Dave Niehaus screaming KEN GRIFFEY JUNIORRRRRR

The singer is just a wanna-be Brother Ali. Personally, didn’t like the song

  • Broseph and the technicolor dream boat

I think you should post some videos on here too. Theres too many websites to check up on. If a video is legit like this one then post it up here. or maybe have just a section on this website for videos.

You think this guy is a wannabe Brother Ali? get outta here…completely different artists

….for anyone from Seattle this song brings back so many memories
…if ur not from WA then you probably wouldn’t think this song is spectacular..but id hope you still appreciated it artistically

… to say Maclemore is a wannabe anyone is completely absurd..

Blue Scholars, Common Market, Macklemore, The Physics…all making some dope music

I am from Seattle and this video is so sick. .I love the Mariners and Dave Niehaus. It’s gonna be weird not hearing him for the first time in my life when the season starts in April……..and by the way, the guy who thinks Macklemore is a wannabe Brother Ali is fucking stupid. NorthWest hip hop is so dope. Blue Scholars!

When I moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder I got exposed to some of the sickest music around. My name is Nick Guarino and I love music and especially showing people new music. Making mix cd's for friends my whole life led to the founding of Thissongissick.com with which I hope to broaden everyone's musical taste beyond the radio. There is a large amount of freely distributed music that far too little people know about. This site showcases and debuts some of best up and coming as well as already established artists, rappers, DJ's, producers and more. Through the process TSIS has found it self focusing on exposing the electronic and hip hop music scenes. Check out some music you've never heard, I'm sure you'll find some songs that are pretty sick. Enjoy!
