The trend of huge house producers and american rap/r&b artists collaborating continues with house DJ Afrojack teaming up with Ne-Yo for Ne-Yo’s latest single ‘Give Me Everything’. This song starts off with a pretty cool sounding beat, and Ne-Yo actually sounds pretty good with it, then it drops to a sick bass filled house drop making everything only better. Sounds like a typical awesome banging Afrojack track. Who gives a shit if Ne-Yo is “mainstream”? He’s a pretty talented singer and at the least, this recent explosion of house music on the radio has made the mainstream more tolerable. I applaud the artists who decide to work with established, performing DJs rather than the nameless, faceless producers of 90% of today’s music.
