Skrillex – Equinox (First of the Year) (Merk Meets Andys Remix) : Amazing Remix

Today I’ve got a very high energy remix of an artist who already signature sound pretty much sounds like a remix. It’s the Merk Meets Andys remix of Skrillex’s Equinox (First of the Year), the track with the epic music video wit the little girl. Well this remix gives the already very crunchy and bass filled original a new light, and not sure if you’d call it heavier, or just different. Whatever it is, I think it’s pretty sick. Turn up the bass, let it rip, enjoy!

Jumps around a bit too much for my tastes… Any one part was good, and had he stuck with it for a bit longer, it probably wouldn’t have sounded like he let a cat play with the crossfader. guess that’s what happens when you do a mash up of a remix.

would be a really good dance song but you put all the first of the year stuff in it and honestly ruined it. I feel like if you had just made it your own and cut out all the weird breaks that would go to a club and dance my ass off, but as a skrillex remix, no….. just no.
