Sonny Shotz – I’m Only Twenty (Produced by Brenton Duvall) : New Hip Hop With Sick Electronic Beat

Posted in Chill, Mixtapes / Albums by nick | Tags: , , , ,

I featured The Drive In by The Dean’s List, and now I’ve got a new track from the front man of the group Sonny Shotz. This track is produced by Brenton Duvall, the kid who brought you Time for What You Want (Ft. Biggie) , Mean Planes and Paper Gangs, Lights! (Ft. Wale, Ellie Goulding) and more. This track has Brenton’s signature vocal sampling this time using a sample from Frank Ocean of Odd Future. This track has a great beat, and Sonny’s vocals are legit, making a short but sweet new song. Check it out and enjoy!

When I moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder I got exposed to some of the sickest music around. My name is Nick Guarino and I love music and especially showing people new music. Making mix cd's for friends my whole life led to the founding of Thissongissick.com with which I hope to broaden everyone's musical taste beyond the radio. There is a large amount of freely distributed music that far too little people know about. This site showcases and debuts some of best up and coming as well as already established artists, rappers, DJ's, producers and more. Through the process TSIS has found it self focusing on exposing the electronic and hip hop music scenes. Check out some music you've never heard, I'm sure you'll find some songs that are pretty sick. Enjoy!
