Wiz Khalifa – Black and Yellow (Dj Kue Remix): Sick Dubstep/Electro BANGER

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: , , , ,

So Wiz Khalifa’s Black and Yellow is literally the song that took him to the mainstream, also thanks to getting signed to Atlantic, and it’s the first song that some actually heard from the talented rapper. I’ve heard countless rappers going in over the beat, yet not many could compare with the original, other then Tyga’s freestyle. Well now I’ve got a BANGER remix to the orignal, and it’s pretty sick. Enjoy!

I don’t think there is a single black and yellow remix that can come close to the superb quality of the original.

David, although “Say Yeah” was a great song and did take young Wiz to another level, it didn’t make him mainstream like “Black and Yellow.” “Black and Yellow” has been way over played on the radio and even my little sister, 15, is quoting young Wiz as her facebook status. You honestly cant tell me that “Say Yeah” was so mainstream that young teens were using the lyrics for status updates.

yeah, doodlah, i’m with you. “say yeah” was awesome and the people who knew it were quoting and playing it a lot, but a bunch of my friends are just starting to talk about Wiz now, and when I bring up “say yeah,” they either haven’t heard it or didn’t know it was by the same person. “B&Y” brought Wiz to a whole new level of mass popularity.

the original, in my opinion, was the best version of black and yellow. tyga’s freestyle was good, as well, but no love was given to Carlos St. John’s “Perfect” which is a very good remix over the original beat.

When I moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder I got exposed to some of the sickest music around. My name is Nick Guarino and I love music and especially showing people new music. Making mix cd's for friends my whole life led to the founding of Thissongissick.com with which I hope to broaden everyone's musical taste beyond the radio. There is a large amount of freely distributed music that far too little people know about. This site showcases and debuts some of best up and coming as well as already established artists, rappers, DJ's, producers and more. Through the process TSIS has found it self focusing on exposing the electronic and hip hop music scenes. Check out some music you've never heard, I'm sure you'll find some songs that are pretty sick. Enjoy!
