Wiz Khalifa – Cabin Fever : Sick Chill New Mixtape

So with Wiz Khalifa getting bigger and bigger, and becoming a mainstream name, releasing new singles like Roll up, dropping a brand new mixtape through twitter without any warning wouldn’t sound like something he would do would it? Well that’s exactly what the weed influenced rapper did earlier today. It’s a pretty sick 9 song mixtape called Cabin Fever that is pretty good, especially considering it was dropped without any warning. I can’t decide if Rolling Papers is over hyped, or if it really will take Wiz to a Mainstream player. We’ll see, for now enjoy this mixtape!

The only songs I really cared for were “WTF” (which could describe the mixtape kinda), “Homicide” and my favorite was “In The Middle” i feel like that song had the Kush & OJ feel to it and I dug it

damnit wiz… idk what all these talented artists are thinking but collabs doesnt mean shit if youre the illest motherfucker on the track! wiz can fucken hold his own and his talent will get him to the top. dont bring on people that suck dick at rapping and who make shitty beats (compared to wiz’s old style) just because itll get u known. idk i had faith that this fool would b a new light, staying high in the clouds middle finger to the haters. but he’s getting farther away from his roots and thats one thing that the industry dont recognize because there are no roots, they think they have a blueprint to get people to the mainstream but the problem with that is that most of those guys are forgotten within a couple years. ive been listening to some artists for almost 10 years and its because they did it on their terms and changed the game up! fuck the mainstream it just turns people into mindless followers

man this shit is sick, you can’t expect wiz to do the same shit on every mixtape. i’m pretty sure lex luger produced most of the songs on this too and everybody knows he’s on FIRE right now. smart move on wiz’s part in my opinion this shit go hard…

@JB14 This is the most well done alternative media site you’ll find. Who cares if other sites drop it earlier, nobody puts in the kind of time to evaluate each track to help out the average browser filter through the masses of music… This is the “sickest” site I’ve ever seen

@D – This is by far not the best. Though the analysis is good, other sites do it just as good, if not better. Besides, half of the stuff they put on here isn’t even that good. It’s just a couple of guys from Boulder who rip stuff off other sites and put it on theres. Oh and A LOT of people care when something drops.
