Ellie Goulding – Halcyon (Album Preview) : Release Date + Album Preview + Remixes

Posted in Bangin, Chill, Video by nick | Tags: , , , , ,

Ellie Goulding is back with forth ever since she dropped her cover of The Weeknd’s “High For This”. Then following that up with the first single and video “Hanging On” off her new album Halcyon which is slated to release on October 9th.. which will obviously be a HUGE release. To keep us all happy Ellie has released a 2 minute video featuring clips from 5 unreleased tracks off the followup to her 2010 album Lights. All the tracks some amazing and filled with her signature incredible voice on top of amazing prodcution ranging from piano ballads to edgier electronic tracks. Enjoy this preview also featuring random shots of Ellie dancing around, punching the air, etc, and stay tuned for more on upcoming singles, and more.

BONUS REMIXES: Also included are two bonus remixes to “Hanging On”, the first single off the album.  The original gave me chills the first time I heard it… and I knew there would be a huge pile of remixes coming; here’s two of my favorites. The first is by Syvable + PRFFTT and the take a minimal yet bass heavy approach that really keeps maintains the passion of the original. The second is by TSIS regular Sound Remedy as he creates a more heavy remix that still maintains the smooth feel. Enjoy!
