Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – The Heist (Album) : One of the Best Hip-Hop Albums Created Gets Released

I don’t say that lightly, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have gone and created hands down one of the best albums I have ever heard with their freshly released The Heist. It’s an amazing listen all the way through. Macklemore takes storytelling to places I never thought possible transporting you to where he wants to take you on every single track, all with a soundtrack that can’t be beat, produced by Ryan Lewis. If there is an album to buy this year, this is it. It’s so good it make me want to by the deluxe edition hard copy available here, or at least purchase through iTunes here. Enjoy!

UPDATE: “The Heist” is now the #1 album on all of iTunes, this a landmark moment for every independent artist out there!

  • I was afraid you were going to post a download for the album! This is the first album I have bought in 8 years. Truly the best album I have ever listened to. PS they took the NPR link down with the release.

  • honestly the best album ever

  • I’ve been a big fan of Macklemore for a while now, but i gotta say, I’m kind of disappointed that they chose to put five tracks that have all been out for awhile now on their new album. I was just expecting an album of all new tracks, but 1/3 of it has been released already :/

  • Thank God! So excited to hear them on the radio!! Cannot wait till Can’t Hold Us hits the radio so I can watch people who have not heard it yet become hypnotized.

  • I love this album! I can’t stop listening to this brilliant work of art.
