This December Miami is getting hit with a new beast of a festival, UR1 Music + Art Festival taking place December 8th and 9th at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, Florida, where the internationlly known Ultra Music Festival has taken place. The lineup is already pretty nuts and well rounded with headliners including Kanye West, Lou Reed, Keane, Fun., Santigold, Pete Tong, Bob Sinclar, Erick Morillo, Sven Vath, and even The Offspring. It’s got that huge talent Coachella vibe in a Miami setting, and this is only the first wave of aritsts announced. We’ve been told about some pretty huge Electronic acts yet to be announced. This is a first year festival, so we can only hope for the best, and with this kind of lineup already, and the location, looks like the ingredients for an epic weekend in December. Grab pre-sale tickets that go on sale at 1pm EST before they go up. See also below for the track “Look At The Hoes”, a massive collab between Santigold, Diplo, and Boys Noize. (2 other DJ’s I predict will be playing this event)

My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com. We've grown a lot since, but the original goal has always stayed the same: making it easier for you to discover sick new music that you've never heard before. In high school I would make mix cd's for my friends to show them all the new music I was discovering. Now, through TSIS, we work with musicians and record labels from all over the world to showcase a variety of the freshest electronic, hip-hop, indie, and alternative music to a global following that is comprised of millions of music lovers in over 110 countries - every single month. So, make yourself at home while enjoying countless amazing musicians from a variety of genres and let the sick sounds fill your ears! - Nick
