Bad Boy Bill, Sephano, & Torio – Roam the Night (ft. Na Palm) (Original Mix): Progressive House Anthem [TSIS PREMIERE]Posted in Bangin, Premieres by nick | Tags: Anthem, Bad Boy Bill, BANGER, Electro House, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Na Palm, progressive house
Chicago’s electronic based rapper Na Palm teamed up with one of the most legendary names in house music, fellow Chicago native, Bad Boy Bill. They also got Sephano and Torio on the track and created a full on Progressive House anthem, “Roam the Night”. Na Palm offers some club ready vocals geared up to set off crowds across the world. He offers a certain gritty Chicago flair with his voice that contrasts most of the angelic, almost feminne sounding male vocals that are found in most house tracks. This is just the start of Na Palm breaking into the bigger electronic world, and Bad Boy Bill is back on everyone’s radar with another huge hit. This track is available through Beatport and is already charting! Help support these talented artists and pick up a copy. Enjoy the premiere off the stream of the full DJ version of the track.

We already got to sample The full version of “Do or Die” with Childish Gambino really blew me away and instantly became one of the my favorite from both Flux Pavilion and Childish Gambino . “Double Edge (ft. You may recognize this remix as the starting track in the Krewella – Troll Mix Vol. 2: Road to Ultra, which got debuted on the UMF Radio back to back mix. Well this massive remix of “Killin It” from Stratus takes the song in a trapped out direction with some dubstep elements. Stratus always tends to blur the lines of genres lines with his productions. Regardless what it is specifically, it hits hard. Enjoy the free download and turn it up.

Zeds Dead continue their strong and steady journey as musical artists and set 2013 off properly with the release of their “Hot Sauce EP”. It is easily their most daring to project to date and Diplo’s incredibly versatile Mad Decent record label couldn’t be a more fitting home to release this genre-venturing project from the Canadian duo.
Starting off the ride is “Demons”, acting as the perfect transition from the past Zeds Dead sound they are known for to the new foreign styles contained on the EP. It is an incredibly slow paced brutal banger filled with piercing spine rattling drops and retro horror samples. Next up “Mr. Sub” takes us down a refreshing techy jungle ride that is a complete 180’ in overall mood. This song, which is named after the group’s home country’s sandwich chain, provides a great stepping-stone towards the rest of the EP. “Playa” is floor shaking, siren packed, rage filled inducing rave anthem that sounds unlike anything I have ever heard. Next up is the cleverly named “Rave”, featuring a revamped breakbeats track giving a tribute to the music that filled the UK rave scene. It let’s you get lost in the engulfing breaks while still carrying out the Zeds Dead flavor you crave. The closing track “Trouble” has the duo go back to the gritty slow paced glitch-hop sound they perfected on their past EP featuring Omar LinX, Victor. The song revolves around a simple infectious piano line and drumbeat that is a slow yet powerful way to end the bold release.
All in all, the EP takes some huge risks, defying most of what is getting released right now. These are the bold signs of true artists who are leading the way, and not following the trends. You can listen to the EP below, and purchase it through through Beatport and iTunes. Enjoy.
Here is an artist that we haven’t featured much of, the talented Halifax native, Ryan Hemsworth. He is another young producer who is making some incredible material. This song “BasedWorld” was given out for free to kick off 2013, and that it did. It has a smooth chilled out minimalistic feel, yet still conveys the fresh flair of trap. The song subtlety builds up further and futher as the songs progresses, leading to claps that have seeemed more climatic. It is safe to say Ryan gets where music is music. Enjoy the free download.
