The taleneted funk filled Corey Baker aka Kill Paris has been releasing free songs over the past year really carving a completely original sound. OWSLA, Skrillex’s record label signed the soulful producer and just unleashed his debut release, To A New Earth EP. It features 3 brand new original songs from KP “Slap Me”,”To A New Earth” and “Catch You”; as well as a sea of incredible remixes from fellow rising artists GRiZ, Gramatik, Candyland, K Theory and Robert DeLong. We already got to premiere the free download of the bass heavy GRiZ remix, and Gramatik was nice enough to keep up the free spirit and include a download of his remix as well. Daft Punk Releases Album Artwork and Confirms 4th Album on Columbia Records

There are so many rumors surrounding Daft Punk how are you ever supposed to know what to believe? Well today we get the true confirmation from the duo themselves from their website in the form of releasing the album artwork for their 4th album release. The cover shows both members helmets spliced together, as well as the Columbia Records logo. This confirms everything, the group will be releaseing their latest artist album through American based Columbia. The wait is almost over, we will finally get some new Daft Punk music since they scored the Tron: Legacy soundtrack.

Paris 96 (Theophilus London & Jesse Boykins III) – “Afternoon” (Produced by Xaphoon Jones) : New Hip-Hop Soul Supergroup [Free Download]

Established hip-hop artists New York based Theophilus London and Chicago based Jesse Boykins III team up for a fresh new side project PARIS 96. The first single they unveil “Afternoon” is an electronic fueled ballad incorporating both hip-hop and soul. Production thanks to Xaphoon Jones (of Chiddy Bang) who gives it just the right electronic kick blended with some organic organs. Theophilus brings the hip-hop flavor while Jesse contrasts with some soulful singing. This dropped earlier in the month, but was too good not to feature.
