G-Eazy just released ‘Far Alone’ ft. Jay Ant which is the first single from his upcoming album These Things Happen. The song with this music video might be some of G-Eazy’s best work to date. It follows both present day and young still swagged out Gerald around for a cool unique video. The production pays tribute to the Bay Area sound with G-Eazy dropping some of his best verses yet managing to talk about weed and partying and not giving any fucks in his own way never taking it too seriously. Here’s his words on the track and upcoming album.
“This album serves as my proper introduction to the world, so the first story I have to tell is where I’m from on ‘Far Alone,’” he says. “I’ve been rapping and making beats since I was young so it was important for me to incorporate the influence of the Bay Area into what my sound has evolved into. This project marks the next chapter to me; a lot of reflection on everything that got me here, for better or for worse.” -G-Eazy
G-Eazy has truly defined his sound more then ever, and I couldn’t be more stoked to hear some more from the project. Enjoy.
