Diplo Best tracks 2013 mix

A continuously growing number of friends and worldwide recognition in and outside of music and pop-culture saw tastemaker extrodainare Diplo at the forefront of everything throughout 2013. Rigorously traveling from country to county promoting his Major Lazer and solo performance while operating the Mad Decent record label is only a fraction of what Diplo accomplished in a pivotal year for electronic music. Since its inception, the weekly BBC 1 Xtra podcast sharing his namesake has connected millions through the power of music with the artists such as Avicii, Zeds Dead, Bro Safari, Cashmere Cat, Sleepy Tom and Tiësto featured this year alone. To end the year in true fashion, Diplo took over his own radio show to share a list of the best tracks either released or to be performed live in 2013. Never one be tied to a certain style, Diplo sets ranges from trap to deep house and everything in between without giving away all the gems within the set. Stream the mix below and please share your comments on what Diplo has put together. Enjoy

My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com. We've grown a lot since, but the original goal has always stayed the same: making it easier for you to discover sick new music that you've never heard before. In high school I would make mix cd's for my friends to show them all the new music I was discovering. Now, through TSIS, we work with musicians and record labels from all over the world to showcase a variety of the freshest electronic, hip-hop, indie, and alternative music to a global following that is comprised of millions of music lovers in over 110 countries - every single month. So, make yourself at home while enjoying countless amazing musicians from a variety of genres and let the sick sounds fill your ears! - Nick
