Disclosure – Latch (Silverback Remix) : Must Hear Refreshing Dubstep / Trap Remix [Free Download]

"Latch" by UK garage / electronic duo Disclosure has certainly received it's fair share of remixes over the last year; we premiered a funky dubstep remix from Manic Focus some months back and a chilled out trap version from La'Reda. Yet through all of these remixes, their has never been quite a banger "anthem" styled remix of the infectious single… that is, until now. We are excited to introduce a brand new producer going by the name of Silverback who we believe has delivered the biggest remix of "Latch" thus-far. Though he has chosen to remain anonymous, Silverback has released music under a different moniker previously and hails from Montreal, Canada. Whoever he might be, the production on his debut track is through the roof and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if this remix turns out to be an official release. The song is a full fledged festival anthem consisting of dubstep section almost all the way through including melodic builds and brutal first drop; then out of nowhere we get an epic half-time trap styled second drop that will have you moving uncontrollably. If there's anything more like this up his sleeve it's safe to say Silverback is not a name we should be forgetting anytime soon. Stream this song below and grab a free download as a gift from Silverback to launch his new name. Enjoy!

My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com. We've grown a lot since, but the original goal has always stayed the same: making it easier for you to discover sick new music that you've never heard before. In high school I would make mix cd's for my friends to show them all the new music I was discovering. Now, through TSIS, we work with musicians and record labels from all over the world to showcase a variety of the freshest electronic, hip-hop, indie, and alternative music to a global following that is comprised of millions of music lovers in over 110 countries - every single month. So, make yourself at home while enjoying countless amazing musicians from a variety of genres and let the sick sounds fill your ears! - Nick
