Genre blending and crafty innovations in sound design best describes the work of UK native and OWSLA / MTA Records producer Moody Good much anticipated self-titled artist album which hits shelves on June 2nd and 3rd in its respective regions. With the whole album available to stream on SoundCloud now before the release, we've dissected the robust 15 track offering which showcases a vast collection of forward think breaks, gritty bass influxes, UK garage stylings, and transitions between tranquil and savage synth patterns featured throughout.
My personal favorites are the collaborations with two highly coveted songstresses, Eryn Allen Kane on "Musicbx" and Haleighblu on "Living Off The High" & "Bubbles", where the chill bass instrumentals allow the ladies to flow some sultry R&B soaked lyrics over the production. From start to finish the album takes takes less an hour to digest, but within that minute amount of time the beauty of Moody Goods meticulous perfection in each song is apparent and inspiring with this solo endeavor from his previous days as 1/2 of 16bit proving to be fruitful. Stream and pre-order the release below, but above all… Enjoy
