Disclosure – Hourglass ft. LION BABE : Must Hear Collaboration

Posted in Bangin, Chill by Bryan | Tags: , , ,

The production duo known globally as Disclosure are roaring with great pace and aptitude towards the release of their sophomore album Caracal. The gents deliver yet another scintillatingly infectious original, this time collaborating with Lion Babe's female vocalist Jillian Hervey for the single “Heartless”

The mellow house structure is laced with prominent bass and percussion knocks that counterbalance the lyrics perfectly. Jillian stated, "This is the first time I have done a 'feature' record and I am glad it was with Disclosure. Not only am I a genuine fan of them, but I love house music and thought it would be a great collaboration and opportunity." This tune will leave you yearning for the upcoming albums September 25th release even more. Enjoy

Kendrick Lamar was the last musical guest on The Colbert Report with a memorable performance of an untitled song that he has no intentions of delivering an official release. Last night he fittingly returned to television with Stephen Colbert once again, this time on his new show "Late Show With Stephen Colbert" for a epic, 6.5 minute performance splicing together songs from his most recent To Pimp a Butterfly album. He starts off “Wesley’s Theory,” and transitions through parts of “Momma” and “u” while spending most of the time on his hit “King Kunta."

His stage presence is at an all time high as he electrifies with his ability to deliver an inciting live rendition of his tracks. in a different manor than they sound on the record. Kendrick further solidifies himself as a generational icon with this live adaptation of his critically acclaimed album as he always keeps us on our toes. Kdot is joined by Thundercat, Anna Wise, Bilal and other members of the production team behind TPAB for a unique performance touching on the highlights off his album. This is the type of performance that will give you chills and will remind you why Kendrick is a cut above the pack, and one of the realest people in the music world. Enjoy!
