Diplo – Mix for #SwayInTheMorning : Hot 30 Minute Trap / Hip-Hop Mix

Diplo, one of the most interesting Dj’s in the world drops off his #SwayInTheMorning mix, for Sway’s show. This 30 minute mix is largely hip-hop based fitting the show the mix is for. He takes us on a joyride of  through non stop fresh rap tracks with some bass heavy trap thrown in the mix.  He transitions between hip-hop and electronic seamlessly really showing what a DJ can do. Alright.. so this track surfaced a few months back.. but my friend Jordan just showed it to me.. and it’s insanely good. I have always wanted to hear a proper club ready bass heavy remix of J. Cole, but nothing I heard ever quite worked. Well Overwerk took J. Cole’s track “Over Work” and and completely destroyed it, ending with ”Werk Out (Overwerk Remix)”. This massive electro / moombahton remix brings out J. Cole’s vocals and adds a hard hitting edge that works unbelievably well. He was nice enough to toss out a free download. Turn it up, enjoy!

Today I’ve got some fresh new hotness from the melodic dubstep producer Minnesota. “To The Floor” features some consistent looping hip-hop vocals to set the tone,  then some synths go off that will have you instantly hooked. It then progresses to a smooth groove filled dubstep drop, and never gets boring. It’s the first single off his upcoming Altered States EP, set for free download on November 23rd. Enjoy!

Krewella – KREWLIFE Episode 1 : Tour Documentary (3 Shows in 36 Hours) + Protohype + Maor Levi Free Remix Downloads

Blowing up is an understatement for Krewella. They have been crushing festivals across the country, selling out shows left and right, and have been winning over fans by the minute. They just let loose the frist edition of their offiicial tour video journal appropriately titled “KREWLIFE”. The first edition follows the trio as they manage to squeeze in 3 huge shows literally all across the country starting in San Diego at SoCal Music Fest, to Electric Zoo Festival in New York City then to Grand Central in Miami.. all under 36 hours. This gives a glimpse into the crazy life of touring artists on the rise. Also enjoy 2 free remixes of tracks off their Play Hard EP. K Theory – Wut They Gon Do! : Fresh Trapstyle Original (Trap / Hardstyle) [TSIS PREMIERE]

Just a few weeks ago we premiered the massive trap BANGER “Geeked Up” by K Theory and you guys went nuts for it. Well he has dropped us off his latest trap inspired heater “Wut They Gon Do!”. He takes it in the hardstyle inspired trap “Trapstyle” direction that Flosstrdamus has made popular by sampling hardstyle. This track actually contains no samples, besides Lil Jon’s voice. It packs a very dramatic build up, then unloads a chopped up bass heavy drop unlike one I have ever heard around 50 seconds in. This song is massive, turn it up, enjoy!

Yep you read that correctly, “Follow You Down” off Zedd’s recent debut album Clarity got proper fresh trap fix, while carrying out a smooth trance flavor. It’s remixed by Keys N Crates, the live electronic group who has really been impressing me over the past few months. This remix takes everything I love about trap and trance and smashes the two together. Smooth dreamy synths let you sail away, while keeping you grounded with the signature trap drum elements. Everyone’s favorite electronic couple Ellie Goulding and Sonny Moore, aka Skrillex recently broke up breaking the hearts of both of their fans that loved couple. To lighten the situation we get a new track with Ellie Goulding singing, produced by Skrillex. It’s called “Bittersweet”, and word has it , it is actually a tribute to their relationship. Regardless of the truth in that, it is an incredible track with amazing production and passionate vocals. We just received word that it is going to be on the upcoming Twilight soundtrack. The Krewella krew has been recruiting some incredible new electronic talent for remixes on their tracks (Like Archie, Stafford Brothers, Candyland, and more), and today we have their newest… this time, possibly the biggest we have heard yet. Scandinavian based Pegboard Nerds took their song “Alive” and completely destroyed, turning into a Skrillex flavored bass anthem. It’s got smooth melody filled dramatic buildups, crushing bass heavy drops complete with high pitched moombahton explosions and all. These guys certainly know how to make a great remix. The Prodigy – Breathe (Zeds Dead Remix) : Official Brutal Electro Remix

Zeds Dead always does a great job with their remixes, but really crushed the official remix to “Breathe” by electronic legends The Prodigy, coming out on the re-release of The Prodigy’s album The Fat of The Land. We got the sample of this last week, but now get this full length version.. and it was worth the wait. The guitar sample from the original propels the track with and added electro blast. This track, just like the previously posted “Smack My Bitch Up (Noisia Remix)” takes the best parts of the original and blasts it full of that signature crunchy Zeds Dead edge. This song alongside the Noisia Remix are now available for purchase now through Beatport before the entire release comes out on iTunes December 3rd. Enjoy!
