Edmonton, Canada based young sibling musicians Luke Tennyson and Tess Pretty make music together as Tennyson, and have gaining tons of hype lately. Previously releasing songs with Ryan Hemsworth, this duo has caught our attention with a catalog of impressive works.
Their latest release is 6-track Like What EP and serves as a great introduction to their eclectic sound. The 6 tracks are full of mostly uplifting sounding tracks full of layers of instruments alongside sampled sounds including water, doorbells, alarm clocks, monkeys, and many more with some distorted and some left as is. Some tracks are reminiscent of Sam Gellaitry, but with their own signature sound, including the intro title track “Like What.” The constantly changing beats are enticing and have a cheerful and colorful vibe that is relaxing at the same time. Tess holds down the drums and Luke sings on a few songs showcasing the duo’s diverse sound. Grab the free download below and enjoy!

British Duo Bondax recently ended their silence with the release of “Temptation” featuring rising singer Erik Hassle as their first release in nearly a year. Now we are pleasantly surprised with more new material from the infectious duo.
Now they’ve taken on English indie/rock band Foals’ “Give It All,” transforming the song into a sexy, feel-good house track that will surely brighten your day. Bondax has a knack for creating some of the smoothest, funky melodies out there and this new remix is no exception as their layered instrumentation brings their nu-disco and house aesthetics leaving you wanting more. They bring a more uptempo beat in their signature indie house sound uplifting the original to a new, pleasant sound that has us hoping for more new releases from these guys soon. Parisian producer French Kiwi Juice –also known as FKJ — has grown to be one of the leading innovators and advocates of the chiller side of bass which runs neatly with R&B and hip-hop genres. We've seen his genius at hand via phenomenal remixes of Alina Baraz & Galimatias "Pretty Thoughts" and Zhu's "Paradise Awaits" along with his the recent single "Better Give You Up" from a forthcoming studio album.
To temporarily settle our anticipation for the release, FKJ gifts us with an absolutely gem of a remix! Taking Belgian songstress Selah Sue's pop-soaked single "Off Alone"into his production mastery, the artist passes a cool breeze of good vibes and and summertime aesthetics throughout. A soft set of drum kicks, nü-house, and future soul chic are cast in all the right measures and arrangements.
Stream this hip creation below and check back for more info on FKJ's album soon. Enjoy
