Thomas Jack, the man behind our partnered Tropical House mixtape series has certainly had quite an explosive year from sold out shows and massive festival performances across the globe, but this only scratches the surface of what he has up his sleeves for us. He has broke into the outrageous world of celebrity dogs by teaming up with the world's most popular bulldog, Manny The Frenchie. He isn't just friends with the dog, but has gone even further and formed a collaborative music relation. Watch the documentary as we see Tom and Manny play around, work in the studio, take pictures with fans and more.
This isn't the start of their relationship as Thomas just brought out Manny The Frenchie during his DJ set in Manny's home city of Chicago at Spring Awakening earlier this month.
Watch the hilarious video below as we anxiously await what's to come when Tropical House meets one of the world's cutest dogs.
Australian Indie electronic group Flight Facilities impressed us with their debut album Down To Earth released through none other than Future Classic last fall, and it’s proved to be the perfect body of work for remixing including standout flips by Lido and Sean Glass so far. Today we have a special remix of “Heart Attack” from London duo Snakehips to continue their own hot streak of quality releases this year including original works with Tory Lanez and Syd (of The Internet). The duo breaks the track down to it’s core and restructure the production completely while utilizing the vocals to recreate their own glitchy, melodic rendition of the original full of colorful synths. Stream the full song below and most of all, Enjoy.

Recorded during the studio sessions for his incredible 2014 album Built On Glass, this previously unreleased track “Bend” shows that even the songs that didn’t make his album are still amazing. This tune brings Chet’s signature sound as he offers silvery vocals over his psychedelic, self produced beat highlighted by soft synths and a smooth guitar riff. Earlier this year Ratatat ended their long musical hiatus with the release of their new song “Cream on Crome” in conjunction with their Coachella performance. This new track “Abrasive” is the second release off their forthcoming album Magnifique, which is their first album in five years and will be released on 7/17.
They unleashed this new tune as a music video featuring intriguing animation using over 4,000 black and white drawings by Ratatat’s Evan Mast to create a truly unique visual element to go along with this new track. “Abrasive” brings smooth guitar licks and silky grooves as their signature synthesizer lays beneath to make for a harmonious sound that has us eagerly awaiting the album. Stay tuned for more from Ratatat and enjoy!

The Songs From Scratch series brings together artists that haven’t worked together previously and films the creative process of the epic collaborations they curate. We’ve previously been blessed with great results from this series including tracks from Fetty Wap & Baauer, Chet Faker & Goldlink, Tory Lanez & Snakehips and more.
"All In" is the latest from this series bringing together Soulections’s genre-defying producer Mr. Carmack and Oakland / L.A. based vocalist Kehlani. Carmack takes a relaxed, downtempo approach as his atmospheric, dreamy synths lays beneath melodic synths and impressive syncopated drums that goes perfectly with the sultry vocals. Kehlani previously worked with Chance the Rapper on “The Way” and continues to prove why she is one of the most talented up and coming singers, and is one to keep an eye on. Stream the song below and be sure to check out the video of their creative process behind the music.

Over the years Statik Selektah has proved to produce some of the smoothest hip-hop beats out there, with a seemingly enless catalog under his belt. He’s enlisted the talents of Action Bronson and Joey Bada$$, who have both already put out unbelieavable albums this year, and each had Statik produced beats including Joey’s recent “Curry Chicken.” This new track “Beautiful Life” has a classic sounding old school beat with melodic keys, a funky bassline, and a catchy guitar riff sample that goes perfect with these NYC rappers trading relentless verses which adds up to a perfect summer classic. Enjoy.

The Weeknd has been staying busy as of late with his epic music video for the much awaited release of “The Hills” following multiple live performances of the track. Now we get a new sound from Abel on “Can’t Feel My Face,” which is a radio-ready hit that leaked a couple weeks ago. This radio-quality, full length version of his next big hit has officially been released, showcasing less explicit content than we’re used to hearing from the Canadian crooner. He surprised everyone with a less dark, more upbeat sound as he delivers a Michael Jackson influenced, funky R&B tune that will surely be one of this summer’s biggest hits. Enjoy!
