As the year moves along we are starting to gear up for America's festival season once again, which kicks off even earlier this year thanks to one of the newest festivals on the block.
As you may know, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is taking place in Florida over March 4th, 5th and 6th in Okeechobee Florida, centrally located, not far from Orlando and West Palm Beach and only a few hours from Miami. Okeechobee was founded by one of the original members of the Bonnaroo team, who left to speerhead this project, and he seems to have brought some of the magic along. The festival, which is set to draw over 30,000 people for it's inaugural year, has an incredibly curated lineup and unique signature areas sprawled across a beautiful natural landscape.
The music curation couldn't be more on point with electronic heavy hitters including Skrillex, Bassnectar, ODESZA and Big Gigantic to hip-hop stars like Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Future and Miguel and even some big live acts like Mumford & Sons and The Avett Brothers, amongst many many more. They also recently revealed that it will be the first US music festival that is going to have music 24 hours a day. The Jungle stage, dubbed Jungle 51, will feature the best tech house and deep house from around the world playing from sunset to sunrise all 4 nights of the festival.
We couldn't be more excited to announce that we've partnered with the festival and Mac Miller to hook two lucky readers up with the chance to go to the festival in style. The two winners will not only get 2 VIP tickets to the festival (which includes special VIP camping, viewing areas, lounges, and more) but will also receive a travel credit as well as a meet and greet with Mac Miller and side-stage access to Mac's show.

It's no suprise that Electric Forest is one of the TSIS crew's favorite times of the year, from the unique experience, community built around the festival, and the always epic lineup. This year, the festival was the only in America to sell out ahead of the lineup being announced, ahead of even Coachella and EDC in Vegas.
Well the not so typical festival decided to have some fun with the reveal of the 2016 lineup due to it being sold out ahead of time.
They've decided to reach out to one of the most defining factors of Eletric Forest, the community around it. They've sent out the lineup piece by piece to hand pick Electric Forest attendees. The fans are then posting the pictures and videos of the pieces online via the #EF2016Reveal hashtag.
So far it's already been unveiled that Fetty Wap, Adventure Club, Bonobo (DJ Set), STS9 and Flosstradamus have been announced among many more sure to come.
We will be adding to the running list of names below live as they pop up online until the full lineup is out. Enjoy!
As the year progresses Aussie musical icon Flume gets closer to finally releasing his long awaited sophomore album "Skin."

Electronic music continues to grow and grow as it's been blowing important figures in mainstream media by the day. Well Fox television, one of America's biggest television networks, has taken the duty of announcing the first ever nationally televised award show around Electronic music. The fittingly titled "EMAF," Electronic Music Awards & Foundation, is also a foundation that is set to "raise money for good causes."
Electronic pioneer and icon Paul Oakenfold is set to be the executive producer of the show bringing his years of experience in the genre. It will highlight trending acts of today, along with icons in the scene including early trailblazers. There is set to be live performances as well (Currently unaccounted).
It is set to take place in LA over April 14th and will broadcast on April 23rd from 8-9pm.
Lots of details are unknown right now regarding who will be hosting and featured in the show outside of Paul Oakenfold, but it should be a huge event for Electronic music. Watch the teaser video below. Enjoy!
