Today I have the latest visual and mixtape from College rapper Huey Mack featuring Mik Stud. Both Huey and Mike prove that they are becoming more then just “college rappers”. Also included is Huey Mack’s A Boy Named Hue mixtape, which just recently dropped. We already featured Higher and I Wan’t It All, and his Fuck My Baby remix. It’s 14 songs which all have solid production, and filled with Huey’s care free, light hearted styles. The tracks are a balance of comical tracks and some more serious ones. Huey has really improved and grown as an artist in the past couple years, and this mixtape shows that. This is sold on iTunes, but he also wanted it to get spread around for free. Michal Menert – Even If It Isn’t Right (Album) : 27 Song Electronic Album on Pretty Lights Music

Choosing to give away your album for free is a great thing especially when it is really sick, like the latest from the first Pretty Lights Music artist Michal Menert, who actually helped Derek of Pretty Lights produce their first album. This album Even If It Isn’t Right follows up his debut Dreaming of A Bigger Life. This album is a long time in the waiting, over a year, which makes sense why it’s 27 tracks. He does a great job at sampling some of the best and most obscure samples. He’s developed a more bass heavy sound that works so well. He’s got collaboration wit SuperVision, Paul Basic, and Derek VanScoten. I tried to pick out a few of my favorites, but this is certainly worth the entire download. Enjoy!

Today I have the long awaited new project from Boulder’s own Paper Diamond. TSIS has posted Paper Diamond’s stuff since day one starting with the Levitate EP, followed by the notorious Kanye West – Power remix. Throughout the past year’s he’s continued to drop some viral bootleg remixes to Same Old Song, Wildfire, All We Do Is, and more. Now we got his 3 track all original EP, this time released on Diplo’s Mad Decent label instead of his previous Pretty Lights Music affiliation. After listening you can tell why this harder hitting style fits better with the new label. The EP features a revamped track of one track that has previously surfaced Can We Go Up. “Turn the Lights Off” features vocals from Nasimiyu, is a standout track I’ve heard there’s a HUGE music video in the works for. Today I have a huge next step for James Egbert. This rising electro house star is here with a HUGE release. James may have popped on your radar with his free 4 song  Blackhawk EP, and has shown no signs of slowing down. This EP features 6 new all original tracks, including the single ‘Back to New’. James has a unique breed of hard hitting electro house, yet maintaining a smooth trance vibe. It has a great balance of heavy and mellow blended perfectly on every track. There are also 2 dubstep tracks “Milky Way” and “Halo”, showing how brutal James can get. It features some guest vocals from Laura Brehm, Kill Paradise, and Brittany Egbert, really adding another level to this project. James was nice enough to throw us the exclusive download of an instrumental dubstep remix of “In The Beginning”, the title track on the release. This remixes featured all have a different flavor. The first of which is 3LAU’s big house remix, which he’s donating all proceeds to building a school, see the video here. Today I’ve got a massive new 17 track mashup album “Frequent flyer” from Kap Slap that is the perfect party soundtrack.  We just recently posted his Avicii’s Epic Hangover bootleg, and now the whole project continues the theme of featuring some of the top recent radio songs paired up with some of best hard hitting electronic tracks, creating completely new sounding track. Now Kap Slap, like 3LAU are easily some of the best “mashup artists” out there. With all these seamless transtions between every part of every track, he really is a club friendly Girl Talk.
