Parisian producers are some of the hottest commodities within the dance music space; from legendary artists like Justice and Daft Punk, to the latest generation of star’s like DJ Snake and Tchami, the French capital is a hotbed of innovative talent and we now have one of the latest to emerge.
Underneath the cloak of French house creators comes Dombresky with a new original that features a cluster of spry arrangements that are ready to take club dance floors by storm. "Overdrive" hits with cool concoction of electro meets French house mystic; the digging influxes of bass compliment the overall foundation perfectly while still offering a swooning effect after listening from start to finish.
This blazing heater from Dombresky is the start of more to come throughout the year and will be featured on his forthcoming EP dropping on February 5th via the infamous label Fools Gold Records. Stream the chune below and above all… enjoy

We last heard from the Philadelphia artist Louis Futon back in August of 2015 with his must hear remix of Gallant's "Weight In Gold" and his team effort "Sideways" alongside Bassnectar and Zion I shortly before that. Louis now reveals some of his newest work as he gives us his brand new official remix of fellow Philly duo Marian Hill's "One Time."
The new track nestles the original songs main saxophone melody in Louis's shimmering future bass sounds complete with playful drums, symbols, and even xylophone. With this amazing new remix, the Philly producer further proves his skillful remixing abilities can tackle just about any genre ranging from hip-hop to electronic to indie and pop as well.
We've also heard from his camp that we can expect to hear an original very soon, so stay tuned! Until then, enjoy the premiere of Louis Futon's remix of "One Time."

It was only two weeks ago that we premiered the second edition of "The Zoo" mix series which was an hour long compilation that included two new IDs from TSIS known artist Elephante. Well today Elephante manages to keep the good music coming with his brand new single "Black Ivory."
"Black Ivory" stands as a testament to his ever growing skill set. Delving from his typical progressive house style, Elephante pulls from the future bass sub-genre to create a lush soundscape full of bass melodies on top of the future pop foundation. He even throws a few elephant sounds into the mix to make sure he reminds listeners who created the unreal track. Listen to the premiere of "Black Ivory" below and make sure to hit that free download link!

Quickly becoming one of the most exciting trap producers out there, NGHTMRE has been a site regular through an endless stream of releases. We last heard from the LA producer on his collabs with Flosstradamus on "Lighters Up" and Boombox Cartel on "Aftershock". Now the LA based beat maker returns with a brand new original "Burn Out."
With the track, NGHTMRE also gives us some very exciting news. The song is actually a cut off of his forthcoming project the NGHTMRE EP. "Burn Out" is just one of the two songs that NGHTMRE has decided to bless us with today. The other track, "Prelude," is a brief 1:40 minute piano ballad that will serve as the intro to the project. As "Prelude" comes to a dreamy close, "Burn Out" then slowly but surely erupts into an explosion of booming bass and jolting drums sure to bring listeners back into NGHTMRE's world of trap.
Expect to hear the NGHTMRE EP in full on its scheduled 3/25 release date. As always though, we'll be sure to keep you posted! For now, enjoy the TSIS premiere of "Burn Out" and grab a free download.

My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com. We've grown a lot since, but the original goal has always stayed the same: making it easier for you to discover sick new music that you've never heard before. In high school I would make mix cd's for my friends to show them all the new music I was discovering. Now, through TSIS, we work with musicians and record labels from all over the world to showcase a variety of the freshest electronic, hip-hop, indie, and alternative music to a global following that is comprised of millions of music lovers in over 110 countries - every single month.
