Skrillex continues his seemingly endless stream of new music in 2014 with news of another remix EP taken from his debut album earlier this year. Today we get the official remix to "Dirty Vibe", the song co-produced by Diplo and also featuring G-Dragon from Big Bang and CL from 2NE1. Today's remix is from the exciting French producer Habstrakt who's seen his fair share of love on TSIS with tracks like "Datbooty" and "Listen". He has flipped Skrillex and Diplo's rave anthem giving it a proper UK Garage remix, with modern Future House elements all delivered in Habstrakt's gritty bass styling. Listen to the premiere below and you can pick up the full EP when it releases on Dec 15th on OWSLA. Enjoy!

GRiZ… now where is there to start with him? A TSIS favorite artist we have been supporting through his early remixes and both full length free albums is back with some exciting news we have been waiting for.
GRiZ has been hard at work over the last few months taking the first break in his career from live shows to focus on his best original music to date. The first song from the album is "A Fine Way To Die" which is a revamped approach to the funky soul filled signature style we've grown to love from GRiZ. The live funk influence is fused with the gritty electronic bass sounds which come to life like never before thanks to the addition of some original vocals from newcomer Orlando Napier who completes the track. One of the most hyped first performances between Skrillex and Diplo as their new project Jack U was closing out Hard Summer with a headlining set in their home city of LA. We were lucky enough to be there for the set during and as expected, they certainly impressed. The group debuted an onslaught of new material including bootlegs, originals, and remixes. One of the most standout moments of the set was a bootleg mashup of Skrillex's infamous take on "Cinema" and Andy C's remix of Major Lazer's "Get Free". The track was recently featured in the Jack U's 2 hour BBC mix and was given out as a limited free download through the OWSLA store. We now have our hands on that free download for all of you to enjoy!

Joey comes in and spits straight fire fueled verses from start to finish through the entire near 3 minute song. Chilly weather is spreading in most parts of the country, but that's not stopping California based producers Tropicool and Peitzke from turning up the heat with their latest original track, "Cat Call." 2014 has been a huge year for "tropical" sounding music and it doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon. “Cat Call” is a chilled out tune that gives off a sexy, somewhat throw-back vibe. The best description for it is to picture yourself cruising down the boulevard in 1970’s Miami. You won’t be able to listen to this tune just once, it's that addicting. Stream the track below and make sure you grab the free download. Enjoy!

A few months back we premiered the debut single, "Maybe", from the new collaborative project Carmada the team of budding Australian producers LDRU and Yahtzel. Today we get the entire Realise EP featuring three brand new songs released through Skrillex's OWSLA label.
Skrillex was down under recently and premiered the whole EP via Nina Las Vegas' Triple J Mix Up Exclusives take-over along with Diplo, RL Grime and What So Not. Listen to the radio show stream below.
Carmada have been carving a lane in the chilled out side of production. They regularly step outside of what you would expect from them and prove to keep pushing the boundaries of the Australian sound with a harder twist. In the title track "Realise", the vocals from New Zealand based Noah Slee make the track stand out along with a subtle melody and funky drop. "Carmalude" showcases the more Australian feel we are used to with a touch of saxophone that really gives the track diversity. "On Fire" puts off a bouncy Flume-ish feel with vocals from Melbourne based RnB singer Maribelle that really take it to the next level.
You can now stream the EP in full and purchase on iTunes thanks to OWSLA. Enjoy!
