Big Gigantic & This Song Is Sick Present Rowdytown II at Red Rocks with support Adventure Club: Date and Ticket Info
Posted in Events, News by nick | Tags: 2013, Adventure Club, Big Gigantic, Red Rocks, RowdytownNo words could accurately describe how excited I am to announce the return of Rowdytown. Last year we worked with Big Gigantic to help present their first headlining performance at the legendary Colorado venue Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the event could not have been a bigger hit, see video below. The lineup of openers included a star studded lineup of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Dillon Francis and GRiZ, who have all seriously exploded since the event. The event brought out projection mapping simliar to Amon Tobin on the actual Red Rocks, for the first time in the venue’s history. The event last year sold out weeks in advance and easily went down as one of the top events at Red Rocks of 2012.
Well now Rowdytown is returning to Red Rocks once again on September 28th for Rowdytown II, and we are happy to be apart of the journey. We’ve got Canadian party starters Adventure Club as support for round II. Other openers will be announced in the coming weeks, but rest assured they are pretty amazing. This year is going to go even bigger taking the production limits to the next level. This event is guaranteed to sell much faster than last year, and people were paying crazy amounts from scalpers, SO DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS ONE!!

Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: Bass Music, Chill, Chillstep, Dubstep, Minnesota, SmoothMinnesota just dropped off a free chill change of pace, the 2 song Eternal Frequencies – Equinox EP . The first song “Bloom” is a slow paced incredibly melodic dubstep anthem featuring some live instruments in a unique fashion. The second track “Stardst Redux” is space theme adventure fueled by a catchy acoustic guitar plucked melody. This new sound is so much more dynamic and layered then his previous work, and a step in an exciting direction. Glad he decided to give these out for free as well. Find somewhere to play these loud. Enjoy!

Vaski – Baddest (Ft. Betty Borderline) : Massive Unique Dubstep Anthem
Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: Anthem, BANGER, Bass Music, Betty Borderline, Dubstep, VaskiVaski after releasing the massive “Insane (Ft. Ave)” earlier in the year just let loose another huge anthem “Baddest (Ft. Betty Borderline)”. It starts off with an epic progressive build filled with the female party vocals from Betty, then moves to one of the most unique sounding dubstep drops I have heard in awhile. It packs a certain funky jungle flavor that is fit to set off the biggest of crowds. His sound is moving away from the extra heavy dubstep to something you can move around to a little more. This is now available through Beatport through Burn the Fire Recordings. Excited to see where his sound progresses further. Enjoy!

Jeremih – F*ck U All The Time (Shlohmo Remix) : Smooth Chilled Out Trap / Downtempo Remix [Free Download]
Posted in Bangin, Chill by nick | Tags: Beat Music, Chill, Downtempo, Free Download, Jeremih, R&B, Remix, Shlohmo, Smooth, Trap, Trap MusicToday I have a track from a few months back that got lost in the shuffle. We have the incredible chilled out remix from Shlohmo of “Fuck U All The Time” by Jeremih. The vocal sampling and drums are unreal, completely flipping the song into it’s own track. It has a certain downtempo beat music flavor with a hint of some trap inspired percussion that hits just right.
We are happy to report that this remix has led to Shlohmo and Jeremih now working together on an original collaborative project together. This is sure to be some incredible music that we can’t wait for.
Also don’t miss the previously posted chilled out remix of Shlohmo’s “The Way U Do” done by RL Grime
