If you are Asian, have long hair, and have somehow been involved in electronic music in any form, you probably have been mistaken for Steve Aoki at one point or another. Well for Australian YouTuber Jarrad Seng, this happens to him on a weekly basis:
I get mistaken for Steve Aoki a LOT. It's been a weekly thing for the past five years… at music festivals, bars, on Instagram… it even happened on the streets of Barcelona once.
So Jarrad was inspired by the recent catcall videos and had a brilliant idea.
[he] wondered what would happen if [he] did the same thing… but as Steve. At Stereosonic. Where Steve was headlining.
Seng went to a professional stylist to look exactly like Steve, and the response was nothing short of hilarious. People literally charging at him to aggressively grab selfies at every chance. He even goes in the middle of the crowd during Steve's set to really confuse and entertain people, even managing to stage dive at one point.
We're left wondering how many of you are going to dress up exactly like a DJ playing the next festival you attend?

We’ve been following Omar LinX for years. The rapper was first introduced to us when featured on the Zeds Dead track “Out For Blood” back in 2010. In 2014 we helped premiere most of Omar’s projects like the Road to M.O.R. series with a string of free tracks earlier this year including “Still Tomorrow”, “Interstellar”, “Rise Up”, and others. Today we have the release of M.O.R. (Music Or Revenge), the full length album and his most complete body of work to date.
A couple of weeks back we got to hear the first song on M.O.R. with Dosey Doe, a electronic-charged rap song co-produced by Zeds Dead. Today we get to hear the project in full and you can pick up your own copy through iTunes. The entire album is solid with Omar displaying some of his strongest tracks to date, proving that he is just as capable of singing as well as he can rap. The album features a strong collection of productions including frequent collaborators Zeds Dead on “Scatter Brain”, “Black Rose” and the already previewed “Dosey Doe”. Listen through to the premiere of the full album and pick up your copy through iTunes. Enjoy.

ODESZA have had a true breakout year including an incredible debut album (In Return), an accompanying sold out world tour, and a non stop stream of remixes of their own music and other artists'. Today they keep the content flowing with UNICEF and an awareness video for World AIDS Day for their song "Sun Models".
Following in the same cinematic vein as their "Say My Name" music video, this powerful video takes place in the country of Chad in Central Africa and is a narrative of a soon-to-be mother who is given the opportunity to take anti-viral medication so as to not pass HIV on to her child. The video ends with the message "Children born to HIV-infected mothers can be HIV-free"; further promoting that while there has been a lot of progress in the fight against AIDS there is still a long way to go. Odesza and UNICEF encourage us all to share the video and help raise awareness.

Dirty South released his album With You last month and the remixes are starting to roll in. The title track "With You" featuring FMBLYBND has just been flipped by aspiring New York producer Jai Wolf. This comes just after the producer had his bootleg remix of Skrillex turned official and released by his label. For this remix he blends some chill trap elements with a Flume future bass sounding twist, plus a splash of tropical flavor tied with some unreal vocal sampling. Last week Norway's newest star Kygo previewed his debut original song "Firestone" via a tour recap video. After a year of non stop remixes, ranging from Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" to Coldplay's "Midnight" and countless in between, we're excited to hear what the producer can do from scratch.
Today we get to hear the full version of the song with featured vocals from aspiring new singer Conrad. Kygo defined his signature sound by reimagining songs in his tropical manner while highlighting original vocals and instruments. He has successfully recreated this sound now with his own original production carrying out the tropical house sound with an organic indie spin to it. What are your thoughts on Kygo's transition from remixes to originals?

Over the past year, information has been revealed about a Skrillex and What So Not collaborating in various studios across the globe. Today we finally get to hear the first rip of the most complete project between the artists. "Goh" was debuted through Skrill’s recent takeover on New Zealand radio station George FM, and boy does it leave you craving more.
Skrillex and What So Not recruited Australian artist KLP to provide some very powerful vocals that are cleanly layered over the very distinct sounds of Sonny, Flume and Emoh. The collaboration sounds exactly how you would expect a mash up of recently released Skrillex basslines and the very festival oriented trap produced by What So Not. Listeners of Skrillex's other collaboration Jack U will be very pleased as this track has that same intense energy we've come to expect. Stream the track below from part 1 at 10:35 and be on the look out for the full release. Enjoy!

LA based Getter is known for turning out productions on the heavier, more aggressive side of the electronic spectrum. The producer and DJ has an upcoming EP - Inner Workings set to release through Datsik's Firepower Records early next month. The majority of the EP caters to his brutal signature style, but the closing track "Stay A While" has the producer stepping outside of his box and experimenting in new territory. Drawing influence from Flume and the Australian future bass sound, we hear melodic synths, catchy melodies, and strong drums tying the track together. Listen to the premiere of the stream below and you can pick it up along with the EP through from Firepowers Records December 9th. Enjoy!

Justin Blau aka 3LAU continues his global rise with his most exciting music video yet coinciding with one of his biggest singles to date.
After breaking into new territory with his highly successful single "How You Love Me" earlier this year, Justin releases a harder hitting followup single. We first heard a preview of “We Came to Bang” featuring Luciana in a unique fashion when Tiesto released a bootleg of the song with vocals from Bloodhouse Gang’s “Bad Touch” earlier this summer.
Today, along with the release of the song we get the official music video which is one of Justin’s most adventurous moves to date. The video tells a very gruesome story of a mascot fight club. Cheerleaders surround mascots fighting to the death, and we see 3LAU playing one of them. Some of the mascots wear slave-like necklaces that explode at the will of the cheerleaders. The video ends with a cliff hanger, as Justin is given one of the necklaces by the cheerleaders. Watch the premiere of the video below and you can pick up your copy of the song out now through Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label. Enjoy!
