The trendsetter of the tropical house sound along with Kygo, the growing Aussie star Thomas Jack, continues to keep things fresh with his latest exciting announcement. He has just unleashed the news that he will perform his longest DJ set to date on February 19th at New York's increasingly infamous club Output. This will actually be the longest set to ever take place at the relatively new club. These overly extended sets seem to be a trend amongst the best of the underground DJs and it is impressive to see Tom taking up the challenge. If you are anywhere close to New York this is a date you absolutely do not want to miss. There are very limited amount of tickets available and you can pick them up here. Hope to see you there!
One of the heaviest and biggest names in bass music, Canada's Excision, has linked up with Scandinavian duo Pegboard Nerds for a massive bass collaboration to set the year off. "Bring The Madness" brings out the melody driven high paced edge you can expect from the nerds meshed with the signature overly brutal sound you can expect from Excision. The vocals from Mayor Apeshit provide an interesting touch and help offset the intense rollercoaster ride of a production. Enjoy!

Madeon Is Set To Have Bastille, Passion Pit, and Foster The People On New Album + Releases Gramatik Remix of “You’re On”Posted in Bangin by nick | Tags: Gramatik, Madeon, Remix
French music prodigy Madeon has revealed some juicy details to Billboard about his much anticipated debut studio album titled Adventure. The album has been many years in the making and is set to release March 30th.
According to Billboard, the producer took the beginning of 2014 off from touring for studio sessions with some exciting new collaborators; including the likes of Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos, Foster The People’s Mark Foster, and Bastille’s Dan Smith. Working with all these amazing singer / songwriters is a step towards creating the original sound Madeon has always wanted to.
This is what the young producer had to say about his distaste with being labeled as “EDM”:
"I don't feel very related to [the EDM] scene, I just don't care that much to be honest," he says. "I don't listen to dance releases. And I mean 'dance' in the sense of this narrow, specific brand of dance music. I guess at a point I felt maybe more excited by it, and it wasn't a conscious effort to get away from it, but I never liked 'EDM'. I was just doing my thing, and suddenly the world just slaps something on you and you go, 'OK.' I just want to be able to do my thing.”
On top of all this news we have an exciting new remix of Madeon’s lead single “You’re On” by the Slovenian electro-soul producer Gramatik. He works his signature funky soul filled sound full of added guitar sections and flawless sampling. Enjoy!

Excited to bring you the latest from a very talented artist / producer that hasn't been featured nearly enough on TSIS, Philly's own Swizzymack. Today we have an impressive new remix from Swizzy taking on one of Drake's more recent songs "How About Now". He completely reimagines the song with some extremely effected sampling that changes speed rapidly throughout creating an interesting result. It carries out some jersey club characteristics like tracks from Trippy Turtle or Hoodboi, yet Swizzy makes it his own with a chopped and screwed trap twist, labeling it 'Philly Club Music'. Listen below and grab a free download, you will be extremely happy that you did. Enjoy!

Lido had quite an impressive breakout 2014 and welcomes in 2015 with a gift that will please everyone. He has pooled together 15 of his biggest tracks, most of them paid releases, and given them all out for free in a convenient zip folder. This features the illusive remix of "Latch" we premiered last year alongside others like Flight Facilities "Two Bodies", Alt-J "Left Hand Free", The Weeknd's "Often" and many more.
To make things more unique, Lido has made the release available by completing a musical puzzle by entering piano notes. This is a trick he has done before and helps make everything about him a little more unique. Unlock the puzzle and the 15 track folder of songs will download immediately. Enter the puzzle and download the 15 songs here.
He has also shared a brand new mellowed out remix of Jaden Smith's "Fast", fittingly naming it "Slow".

Frank Ocean has covered late R&B icon Aaliyah's rendition of the Isley Brothers tune “At Your Best”. The new track “You Are Love” surfaced hours ago through Ocean's Tumblr page and gets us even more excited about his forthcoming sophomore album release. The song features unbelievable falsetto vocals that are completed with strong piano chords throughout. Enjoy!

Jeremih continues his comeback sprint following his collaboration with producer Shlomo on the No More EP, being featured on "Party Girls" with Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa and Cashmere Cat, and his other recent, and successful singles. Today we get Jeremih's nex single with a song featuring J. Cole, titled "Planes".
This song originally surfaced months back at a Chance The Rapper show; the track was supposed to see a feature from Chance himself but it looks like things have changed and J. Cole has taken on the role. I can imagine based off the clip we featured of the original Chance version that it must have been dope, but J. Cole did manage to step up here and kills it. This song blends hip-hop and R&B seamlessly for a song bringing out the best of both artists. Listen below and we will keep you updated on the official release. Enjoy!

Grateful Dead Set To Reunite In Chicago for Farewell Concerts for 50th Anniversary With Trey Anastasio Of PhishPosted in Bangin, Chill, Events by nick | Tags: Grateful Dead, Reunion Show, Trey Anastasio
The true pioneers of the Jam Band culture, an essential bridge to today’s global electronic scene, the Grateful Dead have just announced some huge news. All living members will reunite for the first time in many years for the band’s 50th anniversary. The missing members will be filled in by Phish front man Trey Anastasio, the talented pianist Bruce Hornsby, and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. Being that Phish is arguably considered the act that carried over the family oriented jam culture into what it is today, it couldn’t be more fitting that Trey has joined this incredible reunion.
The shows will be taking place over July 3rd, 4th and 5th this summer in the great city of Chicago, at the iconic Soldier Field.
Chicago has a special place in the band's history being where the group had their last shows as the Grateful Dead two decades ago in 1995 (Pictured above). This is also where React Presents has been throwing it’s Spring Awakening festival for the past 3 years, and also home to the Chicago Bears.
The shows will be on sale through The Grateful Dead’s original ticketing service and general tickets will be on sale February 14th.
Rae Sremmurd, the young brotherly duo from Mississippi exploded onto the world's radar this past year thanks to singles "No Flex Zone", "No Type" and "Throw Some Mo" all apart of their debut album Sremmlife, which was executively produced by Mike Will Made It. The duo being 18 and 19 and seeing this level of success is one of the driving factors of their youthful edge that can't be duplicated.
Riding off the successful release of the debut album, the duo have made a stop on ESPN's "Highly Questionable" with Bomani Jones and Dan Le Batard. They cover a lot of grand and go from showing how they can turn all the way up on a moment's notice, to living in an abandoned house, to when their lives changed. Some parts seem interestingly pre-planned like the reoccurring January 1st, or the fact they were drinking "Bud Light Platinum" specifically while being homeless. Nonetheless it's guaranteed to be one of the most entertaining interviews you will see in quite some time. Swag! swag! …and most importantly, Enjoy!
