The now iconic camping music festival Electric Forest thrown by EDC promoters Insomniac and Madison House Presents has just announced it's lineup for the 2014 edition of the festival taking place over June 26th – 29th. The festival is currently overcoming a minor land issue that was rumored to be SFX doing, but has been confirmed to not have any ties with the EDM conglomerate; the festival is confirmed to be happening in full force and bigger than ever!
This is easily one of TSIS's favorite festivals in the world. We had a blast debuting our TSIS booth at the festival last year that allowed us to meet and hang with a ton of you by the Tripolee stage. We have also had a lot of fun throwing some very special "secret sets" at the festival both in the forest and in the VIP camping. 2 years ago marked the first time Griz and Gramatik played together alongside Dom of Big Gigantic as Big Grizmatik, which as a group made their return to be one of the headliners the following year.
Anyone that has attended knows the overall Electric Forest experience is unprecedented. From the incredible mixture of great musical genres, to the beautiful easy to navigate the Double JJ Ranch Resort, to consistently great people in attendance; it really is in a league of its own that you have to experience to understand.
Although there were a lot of acts we had wished to see on the lineup, it is impossible to not have the greatest time imaginable at Electric Forest.
Stay tuned for with us and Electric Forest for more info including the return of our TSIS booth with artist meet & greets, a special VIP giveaway, and our biggest secret set we have ever organized at the festival!
Unexpected. Yes. Unconventional. Very much so. But who cares in the end as funk lordz Chromeo finally announced the release date for their highly anticipated fourth studio album "White Women" in an unorthodox fashion. Using the internet superstore otherwise known as Craigslist as their medium, the duo created a post (seen above) containing the album artwork, lyrics to an unidentified song, and the release date of May 12th, 2014. Having teased fans for the last few months with tracks such as the recently released "Come Alive" featuring Toro Y Moi, we can now officially countdown to one of the biggest albums to come out in 2014. Stay tuned for more info as it is release and like always… Enjoy

LA native Shlohmo production continues to evolve as the beat maker establishes himself as one of the premiere electronic producers to keep a watch on. After laying down quite the foundation for American songstress BANKS to take hold of vocally, Shlohmo furthers his relationship with established R&B singer Jeremih on the brand new "No More" single leading up to their collaborative EP set to release through Lucky Me / Def Jam of the same name. The screeching synth pattern wrapped around subtle blasts of bass from the future are only intensified when Jeremih lets loose his smooth vocals on the track. The combination of these two are some very special and have us anxiously waiting the rest of the EP. Stream the track below and grab a free download as well. Enjoy

After the original dominated the charts and was played by every producer / DJ across the globe, we now receive out first official remix from NYC duo Mysto & Pizzi and fellow collaborator Moiez. After unbelievable demand, the now legendary Holy Ship will now expanded the experience to an astonishing two sailings for 2015. This is great news to those who haven't been able to obtain a reservation in previous years. If this were any other festival I would question them being able to pull off two weekends, but this is Holy Ship for petesake! thrown by HARD events, so you know the quality will be intact for each weekend and will be just as amazing. Considering they are almost 2 months apart, I would guess the experiences will be completely unique, which I could see people taking either way.
First Sailing: January 3rd – 6th
Second Sailing: February 25th – 28th
Pre-Booking For Returning and First Time Cruiser Will Begin In Early March
To say Norwegian native Kygo is blowing up would be a gross understatement as the virtually unknown producer 12 months ago has released countless viral remixes racking up millions of plays leading up to finally announcing his first of many live performances in the US; after his first performance in Paris causing a scene and his first headlining show (in Dublin) ever selling out in advanced, it seems the buzz exceeds far past the internet.
After much demand, Kygo has announced his first performance in the US, and what a better location than New York City, one of the world's largest cities. He will be performing at the legendary Webster Hall, literally a registered landmark in the city that has seen home to everyone from early American legends to near every emerging new act from electronic to live music.
