Here is a few words from Boys Noize himself on the release:
"The idea of the Strictly Raw Vol 1. release is to take 1 drumachine + 1 or 2 synths and make a track with it. Over the last years friends came in and out of my studio and sometimes we end up jaming on my machines. Since it’s #BNR10YR I wanted to collect the good ones and put them all together and there is some serious magic going on :) As a DJ you always look out for these timeless house or techno music and here are 9 tracks that go from breaks to techno to acid to classic house, all analog, all strictly raw!!"

Undeniably one of the biggest tracks off the recent Jack Ü album was Where Are Ü Now featuring Justin Bieber. New York City based Nu-Disco masters The Knocks released part three of their Summer Bootleg Series today choosing to remix the ever-popular track. I’ve heard a few other remixes already but The Knocks version might be the most complete and full sounding one to date. Fusing their signature nu-disco melodies with layers of wind instruments and other subtle samples combined with the smooth Bieber vocals, this remix really becomes something special. No sign of a release date or download but enjoy the stream below.

The amount of talent that is coming out of Australia seems to be a never ending stream with internationally successful acts like Flume, Chet Faker, What So Not, Carmada, Flight Facilities and many more paving the way for fellow Aussie producers to follow in their footsteps. Well today we are excited to introduce you to a brand new duo out of Sydney going by Yeah Nah consisting of producer Kailo who we heard on his unbelievably catchy song "Need Ya" has teamed up with fellow Sydney longtime friend and producer apart of the duo "Interlude" on something very special.
For the new duo's first release ever they have an exciting 3 track, self titled EP, with each track packing a different musical flavor, similar to Neapolitan ice cream. The EP opens with the track "Elephant" that sets the tone with a melodic horn driven heavy hitting trap tune with a funky African twist. The second track "Tribe" which is possibly our favorite track on the release packs a dreamy, future bass feel featuring vocals from Cam Nacson. Last but not least is an all out bass riot titled "Nangirri" full of sounds ranging from a kids choir to gritty 808 filled drops packing a certain Mr. Carmack vibe yet very unique which acts as the perfect closing note to the amazing treat of a free EP. We are excited to be bringing this impressive duo to the world which we can expect to be hearing much more from this year.
