The daunting task of remixing a Flume and Chet Faker song has prevented many from taking on the duties, but booming New York producer Sweater Beats has pulled off quite the magnificent feat with his latest remix. The chilled out single "Drop The Game" from Flume and Chet's highly acclaimed Lockjaw EP is given a gritty yet melodic future bass overhaul to Sweater Beats creative implantation. Prolonging the violin sample to include a new powerful synth pattern and accenting the euphoric bass bursts makes this remix a great listen and possibly even better than the original. Sweater Beats is passing this remix out as a free download and will be hitting the road this fall alongside Chance the Rapper for a string of college shows that culminates with a performance at this years Day of The Day put on by Hard Events. Check out the dates below and above all… Enjoy

Baauer and Boys Noize Collab On Massive Single “Fire Like This” Ahead Of Tour [Free Download]

An unlikely pairing between German techno producer Boys Noize and Brooklyn trap beatmaker Baauer for a string of upcoming US nationwide shows titled The Run X tour has paved the way for something much more! The two commodities within dance music joined forces outside of sharing the same stage to create "Fire Like This", a collaborative release that fully flexes their individual skill sets perfectly. Bringing together gritty electro basslines, a looping schoolyard chant, various percussion elements, and a touch of trap aesthetics, the two conjure up a single that is too enticing to just play once and will surely have dance-floor's across the world popping off when played out live. This heater is being handed out as a free download and I strongly urge you to add this release to your music library as soon as possible. Enjoy

Listen to Tycho’s Relaxing Sunrise Set from Burning Man

This year, Burning Man took place August 25th through September 1st at Black Rock City, located in Nevada's Black Rock Desert. Burning Man is much more than a music festival; it's a gathering of over 60,000 "Burners" for 8 wild days. Although I have never been, Burning Man is a very community-based event in which everything is created by attendees with a leave no trace policy. Among other creations, towering wooden sculptures are built and then burned in a massive celebration.

Tycho's sunrise set time of 5:40 am sounds like a perfect time slot due to his relaxing, laid-back sound. This DJ set lasting over 2 hours delivers a diverse combination of originals, remixes, and an array of tunes from other artists. Tycho's ambient style is apparent in this mix as the selection of mostly mellow house tracks reflect the musical style Tycho offers.

Daft Punk Member Working On New Solo Album

Daft Punk fans could be in store for some new music as Guy-Manuel Homem-Christo is said to be working on a solo album of his own.

Reported by French publication Tungi, we have the broken translation of the news: "According to our sources, one half of Daft Punk , Guy-Manuel Homem-Christo , is currently register a solo album in the near western suburbs of Paris. Of course, no release date has yet been scheduled, but what is already known is that it will be full of guests on this album".

The producers have rarely created music outside of their work as Daft Punk, so a full album is extremely exciting. Should we be expecting a cast of the amazing French artists he has worked on in the past like when he helped with Sebastian Tellier's "Sexuality" and or  Kavinsky's irritable "Nightcall" (Listen below).

Kavinsky – Nightcall (Produced by Guy-Manuel Homem-Christo)

It is looking like something very cool is coming and we will keep you updated as more info rolls through.
