The first episode features SkrillexBoys Noize and Kevin Saunderson highlighting the Birthplace of Electronic Dance Music and Techno and the city it took place in, Detroit, Michigan. There are interviews with Kevin Saunderson talking about his trio who are regearded as one of the originators of Techno, the Bellview Three (Alongside Derrick May and Juan Atkings). There are also interviews with Skrillex (Sonny Moore) and Boys Noize (Alexander Ridha) and scenes from their New Years Show of the same name The Bang that took place in Detroit at Palace of Auburn Hills.

Salva just put out his latest release, a 5 song Odd Furniture EP through Friends of Friends. It consists of a versatile group of 808 fueled tracks with Trap,  Baltimore Club, Juke, Miami Bass and Hip-Hop influences. His knowledge and skill as a producer shines through immesnely as he makes fresh trap inspired tracks that contain some actual substance. “Hard Drive” is one of my favorite tracks dabbling a little with Juke, yet spun his own way. The EP features the previously featured bass thumping “Drop That B”. The EP ends with “BBQ”, an extra eerie late night banger. Find some proper speakers and give this a listen, and support Salva by purchasing this through his Bandcamp. Enjoy!

Gramatik – Bluestep : Electro-Soul / Dubstep / Bass Music [Free Download]

Gramatik let us preview his newest single “Bluestep” earlier in the week alongside a 2012 recap video showing the insane amount of festivals and concerts he played last year. Well now we get the free download of the incredible funk filled song. This is the first song off his upcoming album The Age of Reason, coming out later this spring. This is also the first release on his newly founded Record Label LowTemp. He fuses raw blues elements like guitar with his fresh bass filled edge. Something about the offbeat feeling of this song struck me off the first listen, then grew on me every listen since;  which is a sign of a true great music to me. Turn this up, enjoy!

Tigran Mimosa aka MiM0SA has just unleashed the latest full length 21 track free album Future Trill. This genre bending free album incorporates his newer trap and hip-hop influences, while bringing in his downtempo glitchy side. The single we got to preview the release with “SWRV” represents his own progressive take on trap music. He manages to convey a certain level of sexy emotion into his productions unlike anyone else. There were a few stand out favorites for me like the bass heavy bangers “Beast” and “Rollin Up”, as well as the down tempo “Moving On”. Preview part of the album before and enjoy the free download. Strap yourselves for a musical journey. We have picked out a handful of our favorites cuts off the record, but would recommend grabbing the whole release, for free. Turn this up, enjoy.
