It has now been a year since the beloved Stephen Ellison, aka Flying Lotus, released his 5th full length studio album You’re Dead. Flylo recently surprised all with “The Lavishments of Light Looking” under a new collaborative project titled Woke alongside frequent collaborator Thundercat and Brainfeeder signee Shabazz Palaces. To celebrate the anniversary of You’re Dead!, Flylo is kind enough to share the deluxe version with us, which includes the original album along with all the instrumentals and a bonus track titled “Protector.” This re-mastered, instrumental version brings a new, yet familiar, journey for the listener as we experience the tracks in a new light. And honestly given how well their creation came out, we can't believe this is the first time they've ever gotten together.

Accompanied by sparing and resounding vocals proclaiming, "Welcome to London" duo Stooki Sound and solo act TroyBoi make sure to state their allegience to their country's capital. The release which is available for free, comes brought to you by the Mad Decent label. Hopefully they find a way to get these guys together again soon, because we can't stop bumping this one!
