LA producer RL Grime is back on our radar. This time he has taken on his own song "Scylla", from his Vold album, and given it the VIP treatment it was looking for. He adds some screaming samples and gives the drop a new flavor but keeps most of the elements from the original in place. This release coincides with RL's announcement that he is playing Central Park in NYC with Young Thug and Mr. Carmack on , which is guaranteed to be a massive show. You can stream the full song and grab a free download below, and snag tickets for the event here.

Bassnectar has just dropped the first 5 tracks from his upcoming “Into The Sun” album, which will be released June 30th via his own music label, Amorphous. In an interview with Rolling Stone Lorin explains "I think of this as a mixtape…like a mixtape you'd make for a lover or friend before they leave on a road trip or something.” The laid back categorization of the album gives the producer much more freedom. As Lorin says he can “under promise and over deliver” and focus on giving the album an “element of sonic euphoria."
In the release Nectar drops off a remix of The Naked and Famous "No Way", where he beefs up song with loads of bass conveying the signature Bassnectar flare. He also gives us a remix of his longtime friend Dorfex Bos self-titled single which is an ode to Lorin’s roots. Lorin also lets us hear three upcoming original songs, the title track “Into The Sun”, “Speakerbox” featuring Lafa Taylor, and a collaboration with Santa Cruz producer G Jones on "The Mystery Spot" which is a shout out to San Francisco
Lorin also confirms with Rolling Stone the collaboration between himself and rock legend Tom Morello will be released following “Into The Sun”. There will also be a free mixtape alteration to coincide with “Into The Sun’s” release.

Recorded during the studio sessions for his incredible 2014 album Built On Glass, this previously unreleased track “Bend” shows that even the songs that didn’t make his album are still amazing. This tune brings Chet’s signature sound as he offers silvery vocals over his psychedelic, self produced beat highlighted by soft synths and a smooth guitar riff. The first 1000 downloads are free so hurry and grab it!

Earlier this year Ratatat ended their long musical hiatus with the release of their new song “Cream on Crome” in conjunction with their Coachella performance. This new track “Abrasive” is the second release off their forthcoming album Magnifique, which is their first album in five years and will be released on 7/17.
They unleashed this new tune as a music video featuring intriguing animation using over 4,000 black and white drawings by Ratatat’s Evan Mast to create a truly unique visual element to go along with this new track. “Abrasive” brings smooth guitar licks and silky grooves as their signature synthesizer lays beneath to make for a harmonious sound that has us eagerly awaiting the album. Stay tuned for more from Ratatat and enjoy!

The very exciting Philadelphia-based producer Louis Futon has been making a name for himself with originals like his self-titled EP earlier this year, and remixes of G-Eazy, Odesza, Phony Ppl and more. Just a few weeks back the producer showed a completely new side to his music with "Oakland Tho", which showcased a heavier production. Today, we hear another step into a more diverse heavy side of the producer's style. The "Tree / Impala" EP is a two track release that was just put out through Plastician's Terrorrythm label, who just released the impressive GANZ record last month.
"Tree" is the type of song that makes you want to jump around and break things, in the best way possible. It is an almost eerie, truly epic anthem of a song, packing screeching high pitched synths and beastly drums for a song that can only be played loud. "Impala" is a more melodic track, with fresh buildups and party starting drops. Both songs are now available as a free download. Stream and grab a copy below. Enjoy!

We hear infectious buildups, pitched-up female vocals, and drops that will have you moving. You can listen to the premiere of the full stream below and pick up your copy through Spinnin . Enjoy!

The Songs From Scratch series brings together artists that haven’t worked together previously and films the creative process of the epic collaborations they curate. We’ve previously been blessed with great results from this series including tracks from Fetty Wap & Baauer, Chet Faker & Goldlink, Tory Lanez & Snakehips and more.
"All In" is the latest from this series bringing together Soulections’s genre-defying producer Mr. Carmack and Oakland / L.A. based vocalist Kehlani. Carmack takes a relaxed, downtempo approach as his atmospheric, dreamy synths lays beneath melodic synths and impressive syncopated drums that goes perfectly with the sultry vocals. Kehlani previously worked with Chance the Rapper on “The Way” and continues to prove why she is one of the most talented up and coming singers, and is one to keep an eye on. Stream the song below and be sure to check out the video of their creative process behind the music.
