The Soulection label continually enforces their reputation as one of the premiere independent labels out there, and have created an aesthetic that lives up to their slogan "The Sound of Tomorrow." Label founder Joe Kay has been releasing Soulection radio shows for some time now, with his 227th edition hosting a TSIS favorite beatmaker, Mr Carmack, who Joy Kay even calls the new Mozart of the beat community.
The first part of the mix is curated by Joe with Carmack taking the reigns for the remainder of the 2 hour mix, around the 51:09:00 mark, unleashing over 46 minutes of unreleased, heavy hitting, eclectic beats with the forward-thinking sound that caused us to fall in love with this always captivating producer in the first place. Enjoy

It’s perfect timing for Joey Bada$$ to team up with Glass Animals on a brand new collaboration following the response Phantogram and Big Boi have received with their Big Grams indie & hip hop collaboration. When I saw that these two artists teamed up on “Lose Control" I immediately thought It would be a bubbly, poppy, radio hit track, and to my pleasant surprise they took a darker, more eerie approach that's truly amazing and unique. Glass Animals typically have upbeat, indie pop tracks, but they put together a menacing, psychedelic beat for Joey to unleash himself with his gruffy style voice, not holding back in the slightest. They absolutely killed this collaboration as the vocalists adds his whispy singing to round out the track following Joey’s fire verses that pair surprisingly well. Enjoy the stream below and stay tuned for hopefully some more collaborations between these artists.

One of our favorite new artists to follow has been the blooming 19 year old Swedish Producer Kasbo, who’s been making noise all year through a series of remixes (Like Vance Joy) and originals (like Again and Kaliedoscope). He's also been supported by Skrillex, Porter Robinson, ODESZA amongs many more reputable names.
The young producer's been attracting interest from labels but said f*ck the system and decided to release his debut EP indepently, and even better as a free download. The Umbrella Club EP is a 5 track release that captures the various styles and sounds that define Kasbo's signature sound.
"There's Something About U" is one of the most exciting tracks as it takes the listner on quite a journey full of live bass plucks and bright melodies. "Fuck Love" is a simple yet effective ballad that uses trap elements in the chillest possible manner. "The Tension" closes out the release with some amazing vocal work and unbelieavble climaxes. Ranging from dance-floor ready tracks to incredibly relaxing soundscapes, this EP shows off Kasbo’s uncanny versatility as a producer as this 5 track journey is both calming and enthusiastic.
Kasbo is set to play his first run of shows ever supporting ODESZA on the first leg of their North American and he will also be making an appearance at HARD Day of the Dead festival in LA on Halloween for a highly anticipated festival debut. Enjoy!

Denver producer Said The Sky seem to be on quite a roll, we previously heard "Book Of Us" and "Darling" and today we get another original featuring vocalist Missio. "Nostalgia" follows their same future bass vibe with a splash of indie influence with a long piano fueled intro accompanied by Missio's vocals which closes out with a climatic bass centered section that gives you the chills.
