Fresh off the heels of sharing “Four”, a track he produced for rapper Juicy J, the Cat returns with an extra cool rendition of newcomer singer Ryn Weaver’s “Octahate”, a track he helped produce originally. The song features xylophone elements that are enhanced by Cashmere’s unique production techniques. The restructured drop is followed by a future-bass and glitchy-trap aesthetic. Lido remixes are generally something you want to pay attention to. His latest, a fresh take on Alt-J's "Left Hand Free" is no exception. The Pelican Fly wunderkind has been on a hot streak releasing a handful of originals and remixes over the last year. This Alt-J remix is one of his cleanest sounding to date. The track starts off calm playing off the indie vocals, but around the 1:30 mark Lido kicks it up with some explosive synths that hit hard and pack the transformational punch. He's also added in a strong set of drums along with his signature samples. You can stream the remix below today; it's definitely something you will want to playback more than once. Enjoy!
