Watch Chance the Rapper Explode With Excitement When Kanye West Shouts Him Out During His Set (Video)Posted in Uncategorized by nick | Tags: Bluesfest, Chance The Rappe, kanye west, Video
Chance the Rapper is on top of the world proving that you can be as succesful as anyone else without the help of a major record label. His recent album with Donnie Trumpet and his band The Social Experiement was the first ever official free release partered with iTunes which has seen millions of downloads since. He has had sold out world tours along with playing at nearly every major music festival in the US and also making some serious damage on the global festival circuit. Well regardless of all these exciting things, his idol, Kanye West just gave a huge shout out to Chance out during his RBC Ottawa Bluesfest set just last night.
Kanye says "….because chance was here tonight.. Make some noise for him. One of the most talented young new artists."
Which causes Chance to erupt with excitement as he slaps the ground and jumps in joy. It's very cool seeing this raw, humanistic side of an artist that's becoming one of the young icons in the rap world.
We can also only hope that this foreshadows the potential future collaboration between the two artists. Enjoy!

The duo manages to bring the most hyped up sections of their own solo sets for a collaborative demolition of the crowd. They bring out singers Kiesza and Kai to sing their respective tracks which worked very well. Skrillex manages to ride around on an IO Hawk throughout the set waving a huge Jack U flag. The idea of using an alias for producers has grown exponentially thanks to artists like ZHU and Marshmello. Today we are happy to introduce the brand new London act Soultech, who is not revealing his identity quite yet. It's an artist that has been working behind the scenes for some time, and is now breaking out under his own.
We are happy to premiere his debut single "Collide", which is set to release on Spinnin Deep. The song takes you to a sun soaked paradise; with bassy underground twist full of punchy drums, thumping basslines, smooth melodies and fresh vocasls to tie it all together. The label says it best, "In short, this is what it would sound like if Robin Schulz went on holiday with Gorgon City." You can stream the song and pick up your copy July 31st.

Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and MØ's hit single "Lean On" from Major Lazer's latest album Peace Is The Mission continues to become one of the biggest songs of the year and has already seen a wide array of remixes, but today we might have one of the most exciting yet. LA producers Dillon Francis and Jauz team up for the first time and they have completely flipped the song upside down into a full on festival ready trap weapon of a remix. It's safe to say this will follow in the orignal's footsteps and become another massively played song this summer. The pair combine their musical styles together with new melodies, unique percussion and Dillon sticking to his "Rebirth" trapped out sound and Jauz showcasing his gritty future basslines for the perfect outcome. One of the most exciting voices to emerge in R&B over the past year has been the duo Majid Jordan coming up under the wing of Drake and his OVO collective / label. The Toronto / London based duo has kept relatively quiet since their breakout A Place Like This EP, which helped put them on the map. Well tonight they just dropped a 20 minute long mixtape out of nowhere that features some unreleased originals and a ton of unreleased remixes for an unsbelieavable collection of songs. Listen to the entire mix below and we will try to work on a track-list as soon as we can identity all the songs. Enjoy!

Mr. Carmack is fresh off crushing an epic 4 hour sunrise set at Electric Forest at the TSIS secret curated stage where he played out an endless amount of track ranging from unreleased material all the way to mo-town hits. Now we get the eclectic producer’s take on the Kanye-produced, Rick Ross and Big Sean track “Sanctified,” utilizing only Big Sean’s vocals to give his experimental hip-hop twist on the smooth original. The intro brings Kanye’s soulful sample from the beat until Carmack’s hard hitting 808s, wonky horns, and perfectly timed synth jabs that brings his unique style on this massive hip-hop remix. No details on release or download in typical Carmack fashion, so all we can do is keep replaying below and enjoy.

South African electronic rap duo Die Antwoord constantly releases outrageous, boundary pushing style and music, making them one of the most original and unique groups we've came across in years. One of their breakout songs "I Funk u Freeky" helped put them on the map, and today we have a fresh 2015 rendition of the song. TSIS regular, French producer Habstrakt has linked with fellow French producer Badjokes to give the song a complete facelift. The producers combine their signature styles and give the song a heavy future house spin. We are right in the middle of summer for half the world and today are treated by a seasonal surprise from one of our favorite artists. Sax playing electro-soul pioneer GRiZ just let loose a new song titled "Summer 97’" that lives up to the name instantly transporting you to the summer state of mind. We hear the vocals from Seals and Crofts’s classic “Summer Breeze” and some of the melodies placed alongside an incredible ensemble of unreal sax and piano lines, flawless drums and just the perfect tasteful amount of GRiZ's signature gritty bass for a twist. We also hear regular GRiZ collaborator Muzzy Bear who adds the perfect soulful guitar licks to the round everyhting out.
He releases this song just a few months after his highly successful self released free album Say It Loud which was followed up with a complimenting North American tour that was almost completely sold out. He is now in the midst of a festival tour which surrounds his biggest headline show to date at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in September and we have been informed it is on track to sell out in advance, so we’d highly suggest grabbing tickets while available. You can grab tickets to the Red Rocks show here and see all other festival dates below. Enjoy!
