Probably the most exciting supergroup to take the electronic world by storm this year is the colossal duo Jack Ü. Fresh off their Power 106 hip-hop mix, Skrillex and Diplo have unveiled the official video for their hit single “Take Ü There” featuring the amazing Canadian singer Kiesza.
The video showcases the rowdy energy at the first live Jack Ü performances; an awesome on-stage perspective whether you were able to catch them this year or not. If there's one thing these two kings of EDM know how to do better then most, it's put on a damn good show. The other elements of the video really kick it up a notch. The layers of animation are at times extra weird, and at times funny (watch out for Skrilly's pizza toss at 3:12); but always interesting. Stream the video below. Enjoy

Los Angeles based producer Mord Fustang is set to release his long awaited debut studio album 9999 in 1 on January 20, 2015 and today we have the latest single from it. Blending disco with electro and a splash of glitch hop, "Pop" is full of catchy melodies and different influences; making it hard to truly put a label on it. At the same time, the track lives up to it's name with a defined pop direction, spun in Mord's signature very cool gritty style. The popular style is completed by duo LIINKS who add their infectious vocals to the upbeat track. You can stream the song below and pre-order from iTunes dropping on Mord's new label Magic Trooper. Enjoy!

One of the best tracks from Skrillex's debut studio album Recess was his collaboration with Ragga Twins on the track "Ragga Bomb". Today, the song gets new life from Skrillex and a surprising collaborator, Zomboy. The two bass fiends teamed up for something very special; and although an early version of this leaked, we are happy to present the premiere of the full version. This new release coincides with the drop of the entire Ragga Bomb / Ease Your Mind remix package with additional works from GTA, Jai Wolf and Teddy Killerz. Listen below and pick up your copy with the EP. Enjoy!

James Blake just revealed in an interview with The Miami Times that he will be releasing his sophomore studio album in early 2015, just a short 5 months away. He also revealed that the album is 70% complete and might even include a feature from Kanye West.
Here’s what Blake had to say about the record for Kanye: "We haven't done a great deal of work in the same room yet, but we've done a few things, kind of helped each other with our own music. In terms of the actual collaboration for this record, it looks like we should be able to get something done. I know that there's a specific song I would like him to be on, and if he can do that by the time my record comes out, that would be fantastic.”
Let’s not forget when James Blake and Chance the Rapper lived together earlier this year, which only leaves us hoping some sort of collaboration was created during that time that might make the album.
James also had this to add about experimenting with some new production techniques and feeling good about where he is at writing: "I guess I've taken a focus on the songwriting again, even more closely, and I'm dabbling in some different production techniques, things I've developed. A lot of things have changed in my life since the last record, and overall for the better, so I'm in a good place, I think. I'm in a good place to write in general, and I have been for quite a while."
James Blake will be performing the new tracks for the very first time on his upcoming American shows that are kicking off November 30th in Toronto ending in LA, You can see dates below.

Sam Smith brought out A$AP Rocky tonight during a very special TV performance at the American Music Awards. They performed the A$AP Rocky remix to “Tell Me” that blew up the internet a few weeks back. They are both just as good live performers as they are on record; Sam explodes with passion and Rocky effortlessly delivers his verses. Enjoy the video!
With the filing of lawsuits over the past few weeks, we can now confirm the separation of Kris 'Rainman' Trindl from Krewella; leaving the Yousaf sisters, Yasmine and Jahan, as the sole members of the group.
Since news of the break up, there have been horrible claims thrown back and forth by both Kris 'Rainman' and the sisters. Instead of making an official statement, the girls have opted to let the music speak for them by releasing a new song to address the matter.
The song "Say Goodbye" has some more rock influence then we've seen from the group in the past, yet it is technically a drum & bass song. The lyrics are blatantly about the breakup with Rainman; an interesting method of addressing a very serious and pivitol career change for the sisters.
Share your thoughts on the entire situation and song below.

A few weeks back we heard a unexpected pairing of 2pac and Banks for “Thugz Drowning” perfectly mixed by Carlos Serrano. Today he is back with another unique mashup.
In this new track we have overnight star Sam Smith and his song “I’m Not The Only One” providing the instrumental and vocal setting for Kanye West’s notable lyrics on “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” for the perfect contrast. The combination ends up working surprisingly well leaving you wondering why the two artists haven’t collaborated on something yet. Listen below and grab a free download thanks to Carlos. Enjoy!
After making headlines for a variety of reasons over the past few months, deadmau5 has just released some of the coolest news to date. The artist released an aerial photo via Twitter this morning announcing that he is set to build a 45,000 square foot mega studio. On top of this announcement, he also stated that he will be doing less club shows and more "epic stage shows".
He has said:
"where im putting EDM money. less club gigs, a few epic stage shows, a 45,000sqft studio complex for actual musicians."
It is very interesting to hear "for actual musicians", signifying that a big focus for the studio will be live elements, something that has always helped his production stand out.
This is also points to the potential expansion of his mau5trap label with a new roster of signed artists to have access to the studio upon completion. We're looking forward to what's to come!

Skrillex music videos tend to be a little outrageous, but with that being said they are always very entertaining. Bass ambassador Skrillex has unveiled his newest video for the track "Fuck That" from his debut studio album Recess. This is one of the more different sounding tracks we've heard from Skrillex stepping far away from the typical heavy sound hes is known for.
The video takes us through a visual journey of what seems to be a foreign interpretation of fight club. It starts off with our main character being released from some sort of underworld boxing training camp back into the arms of his presumed girlfriend. You would be naive to assume they were going home happily ever after as almost immediately after his release he receives a call that leads him back into the world of fighting that ends with an epic twist. Watch the video below and you can pick up your copy of the album today. Enjoy!
