Electro-funk soul brother GRiZ recently released his first new original song since his Rebel Era album, after working over a year on his newest full album. The first track "A Fine Way to Die" gave us a sample of what's to come. Today we get the new album's title, Say It Loud with a March release, as a free download through his newly reformed All Good Records.
We also get the second song from the album, "Stop Trippin'", featuring guest vocals from iDA HAWK showing another glimpse of what this album has in store. With no samples, and all original recorded funk and soul instruments and vocals, GRiZ takes his sound into new territory paving the way for iDA HAWK's vocals to shine strong. This might be one of my favorite songs I've ever heard from GRiZ as he blends the live and organic elements with his signature gritty electronic edge like never before… and not to mention those unreal sax fueled drops. This song is stream only until the free release of the Say It Loud album.
To make this release even more massive, GRiZ has also just announced his first run of shows for 2015 with a fitting Say It Loud World Tour that will be hitting all over the US in coming months. Check out "Stop Trippin'" and see dates for the upcoming tour below.
