Jon Bellion lets loose his last and possibly best music video from his upcoming TSIS sponsored free album getting released next month. This might be my favorite Jon Bellion track to date packing an unreal electronic meets live instrument production. The lyrics layered on top range from too many pop culture references to name in this writeup, adding a certain flavor that makes Jon stick out so much more then the majority of new singers today. This video and song has been on repeat.
Look out for the download of this on his free album The Seperation getting released on December 10th through Thissongissick.com

deadmau5 has just announced his departure from Twitter, and this has let loose a powerful 7 song EP of sorts titled ’7′ with each song correlating with one of the 7 deadly sins. All 7 of the songs are a complete change of pace featuring primarily Piano lines and some lite ambient sounds to compliment. Do not expect your typical mau5 when listening. Also it seems very surprising that deadmau5 would leave Twitter so abruptly considering how large of a role the social service has played in forming his fanbase over the past few years. Listen to these 7 songs below. Share any thoughts you might have on why deadmau5 left Twitter and released this surprising 7 song release.

Over the past few summers, there is one event we’ve all looked forward to attending at least once and hoped we wouldn’t have to travel far to witness the Mad Decent Block Party. The at first small idea from the likes of Mad Decent‘s head honcho Diplo along with label members Paul Devro and Jasper Goggins has evolved into a major touring event that continues to set the bar for how to incorporate a neighborhood party atmosphere and provide fun for all showcasing some of the best music you should be listening to. The 2013 edition saw the MDBP expand from five stops to thirteen as cities like Las Vegas, Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, and were treated a full day of partying with some of electronic music’s biggest artists from multiple genres. Major Lazer, Zeds Dead, Flosstradamus, Danny Brown, Matt & Kim, Riff Raff, Baauer, Big Gigantic, Dillon Francis, Griz and many more were all on hand at various stops along the way. They are talking about an even bigger event next year with potential stops at places ranging from Mexico City to Cleveland to Haiti haha. Check out this entertaining recap presented by Urbanears Enjoy

Dubstep and bass enthusiasts alike have all been affected by the musical creations of UK producer extraordinaire Flux Pavilion. Ever since unleashing the almighty ‘bass cannon’ on a generation of new electronic music fans, the hype has never ceased to end when news of new material comes out. Having delivered a well received album titled ‘Blow The Roof’ earlier this year, Flux Pavilion returns to lime spotlight with massive bass focused five track Freeway EP.
The album starts of with hypnotically fresh blend of dubstep and electro as Flux Pavilion partners up with Dim Mak founder Steve Aoki to create ‘Steve French’. Then comes the collaboration which kicked off the ‘Freeway EPs’ buzz as Dillion Francis and Flux produce a moombasston heater ‘I’m The One’ that contains a perfect combination of hard hitting dubstep with electro/moombahton synths. Both ‘Gold Love’ and ‘Mountains and Molehills’ feature Flux’s signature bass line builds and heavy drops as fellow Brit’s Rosie Oddie and Turin Brakes soulful vocals shine bright on each track respectively. The self-titled ‘Freeway’ which showcases a downtempo synth pattern and soft bursts of bass sounds like an ending track to close out ones set. In its entirity, Flux Pavilion ‘Freeway EP’ delivers yet another fine example of his overall control of bass patterns and drops, leaving him in a league of his own as Flux continues to stamp his authority on the bass world and dubstep genre. Earlier this week we featured an exclusive preview of Skrillex debuting a new song that sounded more like his Techno / Electro focused Dog Blood project. In that same ‘Day of the Dead’ festival set, Skrillex also managed to debut some other unreleased songs ending the night with a huge new remix to a song called ‘DJ Ease My Mind’ from Niki & The Dove. The original features a fantastic set of vocals and piano sections which Skrillex leaves intact before adding a brutal drop with an Arabian twist. Abusing the replay button is the only option until a better quality version is released and we will keep you updated as more information comes in. Enjoy.
