Baauer Fetty Wap1

The long running Songs From Scratch series from Adidas has brought together the talents of trendsetting Brooklyn beatmaker Baauer with Popcaan's producer Dubbel Dutch and up and coming rapper Fetty Wap on an exciting new release.

This new track “Promises” serves as the latest project in this series that has brought us unlikely collaborations like the most recent Tory Lanez x Snakehips "Dimelo" or Chet Faker & Goldlink’s “On You.” Baauer and Dubbel Dutch provide a suprising laid back, extra bouncey approach with smooth melodies and wonky horns providing the perfect foundation for Fetty to spit some verses and and very nice hook. Enjoy!

Listen To Baauer’s Experimental New Track “Zales” [Free Download]

baauer

Luckyme Records continues their free download advent calendar leading up to December 25th with the latest tune from boundary pushing trap all star Baauer. Baauer’s signature bass and trap style production is evident in “Zales,” but with a very experimental approach. Baauer recently released his ß EP along with his “Searching For Sound" documentary in which he traveled to the United Arab Emirates and Japan to discover sounds from their musical heritage. There is a lot going on in this bass heavy track, showing that Baauer’s sound was likely influenced during his travels as he experiments with foreign sounding samples.

Baauer has focused his production talents on reconstructing the drop with heavy trap drums, big bass hits, and adding a chopped up vocal sample of Atlanta rapper Bone Crusher to kick the track in a new direction.
