Head into the weekend with a mix of straight pillow talk goodness thanks to New York producer / DJ Sweater Beats. Similar to his fresh bootleg of iconic R&B singer Brandy's single "Baby", Sweater Beats compiled a strong selection of future bass / downtempo creations for Toddla T's BBC radio show and arranged them into a smooth 20 minute mix for our audible pleasure. A few unreleased edits from Sweater Beats are peppered into the mix; while the overall theme of having something to listen to with that special someone during the horizontal shuffle is present from start to finish. Tiësto will always be one of the most influential and talked about DJs on the planet. Headlining countless music festivals in every single country, releasing thousands of mixes and having a few artist albums under his belt. For the first time in years, Tiesto has returned to Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 program to lay down a brand new Essential Mix. The coveted 2 hour mix where an artist can step outside the box by unveiling unreleased material as seen by Nero, Eric Prydz and Skrillex or for an artist to show a completely different side, like Disclosure dropping an hour of straight hip-hop to start their mix last year. Steering almost entirely away from the expected progressive / electro house anthems, Tiesto showcases his newer side with an exciting blend of techno, deep house and future garage music; displaying some of the hottest tracks and the latest offerings from his Music Freedom label, like "Gecko" and even showcasing a fury of unreleased music. Stream the mix and look at the full track-list below. What are your thoughts on Tiesto's new direction of DJ style / genre choice?

Kanye west is easily one of the most entertaining and regardless if you like it or not, influential people in the music world. He sat down with Zane Lowe for a very rare video interview spanning over 4 parts really diving into the unbelievably “complex” mind of Kanye West. This is the interview that Jimmy Kimmel has since made fun of and led to a “rap feud” with Mr. Kanye West.
Kanye does bring up some amazing points, but get’s diluted by some of crazy shit surrounding these great points.
Just watch all 4 parts of this now iconic interview and see for yourself and comment below:
Diplo has brought out quite the variety of his friend DJ’s to do guest mixes for his weekly Diplo & Friends Radio Show, yet I don’t think anyone saw this coming. He shockingly brought Swedish superstar Avicii, which Diplo hilariously reassures us how he is indeed friends with Avicii in the mix. Do not worry as the mix starts with 10 minutes of non electronic throw back tracks that might throw some of you off, trust that this is easily one of the best guest mixes we have heard in awhile. The mix quickly progresses to a fitting D.A.N.C.E. by Justice and Eric Prydz throwback. He then moves through a fantastic mix of refreshing disco and unexcepted tracks. He even includes original song from Etta James sampled in Levels. It makes sense that he would showcase his abilities as a DJ and stray away from his typical succescingle progressive house singles. This mix really grounds him as a DJ and shows that he is still very much tapped into the underground, and not a sold out commercial DJ despite his quick rise to worldwide fame. Sit back and really peek into this mix and see a different side of Avicii. Enjoy!
