The atmosphere in Chicago this past weekend made for a memorable three days as the entire Thissongissick.com team and our one of a kind interactive tent assembled on the grounds of Soldier Field for the 3rd annual Spring Awakening Music Festival. We provided festival goers the opportunity to attend our biggest Meet and Greet yet as the likes of Feed Me, DJ Snake, 3LAU, A-Trak, Tommy Trash, Paper Diamond, DVBBS, Big Gigantic, and Borgore took time to stop by our tent to take pictures and sign autographs with fans. The experience itself was very humbling as we were able to interact with our readers on a personal level while extending the experieince to them of meeting some of their favorite artistis / DJs. We have uploaded all the photos from the meet & greets to our Facebook Page with links to them all below and you can tag yourself and friends in the post. Big thanks to React, all the tour managers for making the experience possible and Da Black Swan Photography for capturing all the moments and we look forward to being apart of the festival for years to come.
We have also included an album of some of our favorite shots captured of the weekend from some of the most high energy sets we've seen in quite some time. These aren't all the live shots, you can find all of them still getting rolled out through the TSIS Instagram here.

We are excited to have partnered up with Spring Awakening Music Festival taking place in Chicago for the third year. Last year we launched our new interactive TSIS booth within the grounds of Soldier Field where you can actually meet and take a picture with some of your favorite artists. It had such a great response, we had to bring it back!
This year we have one of our best cast of artists participating yet, with 10 different producers / DJs involved. You can see all the times below.
All you have to do is show up before the time announced for that particular artist and you can meet them. We also have a professional photographer there ready to capture the memories and will be posting the pictures in a dedicated page full of albums and on our Facebook Page after the festival. Make sure you show up early as some of the bigger artists tend to have long lines and they can only be there for a limited amount of time!
Here are the meet & greet times and the artists that are involved this year below.
The Thissongissick booth (where the meet and greets will be hosted) is located next to the Equinox stage. Festival map after the jump

It was only a matter of time for the collaboration between multiple genre blending producer Borgore and hip-hop/rap icon Waka Flocka Flame to transition itself from the massive single "Wild Out" into a full fledged music video. The video features footage from when the artists were on tour together along with an appearance from lead vocalist Paige. Add in some comical shots of cruising around on animated elephants, mobbin in front of a galactic-atmosphere / pizza green screen, and go-go dancers in revealing outfits and you have yourself quite the visual representation. View the video below and above all… Enjoy!

Resisting the urge to go on a full cryo cannon assault while listening to Kenneday Jones latest original track will be hard to accomplish as the southern Cali producer follows up on his recent “This Is What It Feels Like” remix. Featuring a combination of hardstyle and big-room house with an energetic bass pattern with some hints of trap, “No Return” is a certified festival heater in the making. Enjoy the stream below and be sure to grab “No Return” on Beatport.

Borgore recruits Waka Flocka Flame and Paige for his latest party inducing bass heavy single “Wild Out”. The single drops right as the entertaining Israeli producer / DJ kicks off his nationwide tour with Waka Flocka Flam apart of the Steve Aoki ‘Aokify America Tour’. The song goes between Waka throws down fast heavy verses and Paige’s extra soft contrasting voice all over some high energy bass from Borgore, all living up to the tracks name of ‘Wild Out. Stream the song below, and look out for the release on October 15th. The Wild Out EP will be out later this fall.

Borgore teams up with Carnage on “That Lean” for the first single off Borgore’s upcoming new EP. This song packs the agressive signature Borgore edge with a fresh new trap influence. We even ge to hear Carnage rap at the beginning “which is #SuperRare” says Borgore. The female chorus offsets the grimey drops. Turn this up and wait for details on the EP. Enjoy!

The unexpected big room house anthem “Incredible” from Carnage & Borgore just got flipped into a full on trap anthem thanks to heRobust. The drop hits you in the face with some powerful 808′s, hyphy synths, and some fierce hi-hats and snares. This song was designed to be a festival and club anthem, and it won’t be long before it happens. This follows up heRobusts’s must hear trap remix to Knife Party’s “Internet Friends”. Enjoy.

We had featured the versatile producer Carnage, (formerly Dj Carnage) a few times on TSIS, but he started turning heads on another level once he asked me to premiere his first massive Festival Trap remix to “Spaceman” by Hardwell. The remix brought trap flavor to the EDM festival / rave world like never before and has ended up getting played by every DJ around the world from Tiesto to Diplo as well as seeing an official release from Hardwell.
Well Carnage has been working with dubstep beast Borgore to create a genre changing electro house debut for both of them, and what a better label to do is then the worldwide prestigious house giant Spinnin Records. The result is a full fledged bass filled rave banger that instantly puts you in the mindset that you are raging a festival with thousands of others. The pauses before the drops added a level of suspense few artists dare to mess with. You can plan to hear this song at every festival and rave for the rest of your life. This song is now available for purchase through Beatport. Turn this up, enjoy!

Borgore – Decisions ft. Miley Cyrus (Music Video) : Outrageous Dubstep Video ft. Porn Star Jessie AndrewsPosted in Bangin, Video by nick | Tags: Borgore, Decisions, Dubstep, Miley Cyrus, Music Video
Wow.. if dubstep wasn’t clashing with the mainstream enough, Israeli dubstep producer Borgore got Miley Cyrus to star in his latest music video for their song “Decisions”. The video also features his ex-girlfriend, pornstar Jessie Andrews who gets kicked out of the club at the beginning of the video. It then progresses to showing Miley kissing people with horse masks, strippers, confetti, and cake. Not sure how I feel about this, yet very entertaining. Enjoy!

Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2012 Live Sets (Post 2 of 5): Pretty Lights, Kill the Noise, Dada Life, R3hab, Borgore Full SetsPosted in Bangin, Mix / Playlist by nick | Tags: BANGER, Borgore, Dada Life, Dubstep, EDC 2012 Las Vegas, Electric Daisy Carnvial, Kill the Noise, Las Vegas, pretty lights, r3hab
Here’s the next batch of live sets from Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 Las Vegas, the 300,000 person electronic festival featuring some of the biggest names in all sub genres of electronic music. Check out PART 1 of the EDC live set series featuring Steve Aoki + Afrojack, Datsik, Benny Benassi, Chuckie. We made sure these were the highest quality mp3s so you could blast them everywhere, but we do apologize for the occasional announcer in a few of the sets, we can’t fully control everything. Turn up the bass for all these, stay tuned for parts 3-5. Enjoy!
Well first up is Colorado favorite Pretty Lights, who played a truly monumental set on the main stage right before David Guetta and Avicii. He busts everything out from his groovey funk tracks to the heavy dubstep BANGERS and everything in between.

Next up is heavy set from Kill the Noise, ranging from a perfect blend of electro house to some of the filthiest dubstep made, even having him debuting his new track off his upcoming OWSLA EP featuring vocals from UK singer Mercedes.

Then we get a full glass of electro BANGERS from the swedish duo Dada Life. You can feel their champagne popping / banana throwing live show energy through the live set featuring all of there iconic original anthems, and tons of unreleased bootleg mashups.

Here we get another hard hitting electro house set, this time from R3hab, the dutch producer who who’s made his fair share of HUGE originals and countless official remixes this past year. He hits all the big EDM anthems, with his own twist of course.

Lastly Borgore hits us with some of the heaviest, grossest sounding dubstep I’ve heard in awhile. He never disappoints with so many originals, remixes, bootlegs, and more that are sure to rattle your subs. Don’t miss his notable “Smell Yo Dick” bootleg that is sure to make you smile.

Yelawolf, last heard spitting fire on Shady 2.0 Cypher, is back with a hard hitting song off his new album ‘radioactive’. The whole album is good, but this song in particular caught my attention because of who it was produced by. Not only was it produced by two exceptional producers, but two very different ones. The synergy between rapper and producers is perfect with Yela’s higher piched, faster flow going over the slow growling beat. After a song like this I’d like to hear a lot more Yelawolf produced by Electronic producers. Turn it up and enjoy this heavy hitter!
So alot of you guys can’t stop listening to dubstep, and today I’ve got another BANGER remix. It’s another sick one from Borgore, who did the Passion Pit remix you guys have made one of the top downloads. He took Britney Spears’ single ‘Womanizer’ and completely warped it into a dubstep BANGER. Turn the bass way up for this one. Enjoy!
