[TSIS PREMIERE] Break Science and Manic Focus Collaborate As Manic Science And Release First Song “You Gotta Move”Posted in Chill, Contests, Events, Premieres by Bryan | Tags: Break Science, Colorado, Contest, Electro Soul, Funk, Manic Focus, Manic Science
Legendary Brooklyn duo Break Science signed to Pretty Lights Music and breakout Minnesota to Chicago soul fueled producer Manic Focus signed to GRiZ's Liberated Music have hit the studio and have formed a brand new project aptly titled Manic Science and have their first collaborative work. The organic chemistry of Manic Science is present throughout their debut single "You Gotta Move"; the cascading layers of electro-soul elements and glitchy synths combine perfectly with Adam Deitch's live drum talents, leaving us with quite an epic track to say the least. It packs a certain soulful groove that you will find yourself getting lost in. This song is stream only for now, with a release coming soon. Also don't miss below as Break Science and Manic Focus are also playing a series of shows later this week! Enjoy

GRiZ is an artist we have loved supporting over the past year and half ever since premiering his “Where Is The Love” track. We have enjoyed watching him as an artist really explode. We got to be apart of bringing GRiZ to The Fox Theatre here in Boulder, and if didn’t go you may have heard about the historic show where he brought out his own production full of lights, lasers and more. We are happy to announce that we are helping out with his next legendary Colorado show, this time down in Denver.
On March 1st, GRiZ will be taking over The Ogden Theater in Denver which is one of the coolest indoor venues in Colorado. He has told us that he is going to be unveiling his even newer bigger production that is sure to be even better then before (See pictures above / below). The supporting artists have not been announced yet, but I would imagine somehow dope. See below for details and music.
His last Colorado show in Boulder at The Fox Theater SOLD OUT in under 5 hours after going on sale. Although this venue is around 3 times the size of The Fox, tickets are already half sold out. They are also on sale now for $17 while they last. Don’t wait and get forced to buy tickets over face value. Trust us when we say this is going to be a night to remember, you don’t want to miss out. Also included is an exclusive remix from GRiZ of The Who – “Behind Blue Eyes”.
Purchase Tickets Here: http://www.ogdentheater.net/eventdetail.php?id=39410
UPDATE: The show is completely SOLD-OUT! There will be 30 tickets left at the door day of show for $20. They will be on a first come first serve basis. Thanks everyone who grabbed a ticket in time! This is going to one to remember!
Here is a sampling of some of the latest GRiZ tunes, including a bonus throwback exclusive remix to The Who – “Blue Eyes” that we featured on our SnowBall 2012 Mixtape last year, which is pretty cool because Griz will be one of the headliners at this year’s SnowBall Music Festival as Grizmatik (Griz + Gramatik).

It already been announced that the massive 3 day long Colorado snow music festival SnowBall had relocated from the Vail area to Winter Park for 2013. The festival has always had one of the freshest most diverse lineups not just in Colorado but on the West coast. They have consistently had a great blend of the hottest new electronic, live band, and hip-hop acts all at the same festival to enjoy while freezing your ass off. Well now for the big switch of locations, this lineup completely makes up for the move. The headliners include past attendee Colorado electronic icon Pretty Lights who knows how to shut a festival down. STS9 makes their highly anticipated debut Snow festival appearance which is sure to be one to remember. Rowdytown headliner, fellow Colorado Native Big Gigantic are set to unleash their new stage setup. The man bringing real hip-hop back to American mainstream… Kendrick Lamar. One of our favorite rising Electro stars Porter Robinson is set to have a epic headlining performance. Datsik will probably drop bass louder then you have ever heard.. literally. Flying Lotus is one of the most intelligent producers and will take you too another world with his future sounding productions. The collaboration project between GRiZ and Gramatik aka Grizmatik will be performing their first official festival performance with live production. And those are only the headliners playing the festival, look above / below at the rest of the jaw dropping lineup. These are more then enough reason to rage in the freezing snow for 3 days for an unforgettable weekend filled with snow and music. Hope to see everyone out in the snow this year!

Yes the title is correct. Amendment 64 just got passed in the election last night. Meaning that on January 1st in Colorado Marijuana will be legal. Anyone over the age of 21 will be allowed to posses up to an 1 ounce of Marijuana.
To honor this historic occasion Colorado electronic duo and one of Thissongissick’s favorites Big Gigantic droped a fresh new track “Colorado Mountain High”. This massive bass packed track featuring some samples from Lil Wayne creates potentially one of the best hardest hitting Colorado anthems I’ve ever heard. The song is fittingly 4 minutes and 20 seconds long. Turn this up, light one up, enjoy!
