GRiZ is an artist we have loved supporting over the past year and half ever since premiering his “Where Is The Love” track. We have enjoyed watching him as an artist really explode. We got to be apart of bringing GRiZ to The Fox Theatre here in Boulder, and if didn’t go you may have heard about the historic show where he brought out his own production full of lights, lasers and more. We are happy to announce that we are helping out with his next legendary Colorado show, this time down in Denver.

On March 1st, GRiZ will be taking over  The Ogden Theater in Denver which is one of the coolest indoor venues in Colorado. He has told us that he is going to be unveiling his even newer bigger production that is sure to be even better then before (See pictures above / below). The supporting artists have not been announced yet, but I would imagine somehow dope. See below for details and music.

His last Colorado show in Boulder at The Fox Theater SOLD OUT in under 5 hours after going on sale. Although this venue is around 3 times the size of The Fox, tickets are already half sold out. SnowBall Music Festival 2013 Complete Massive Lineup

It already been announced that the massive 3 day long Colorado snow music festival SnowBall had relocated from the Vail area to Winter Park for 2013. The festival has always had one of the freshest most diverse lineups not just in Colorado but on the West coast. They have consistently had a great blend of the hottest new electronic, live band, and hip-hop acts all at the same festival to enjoy while freezing your ass off. Well now for the big switch of locations, this lineup completely makes up for the move. The headliners include past attendee Colorado electronic icon Pretty Lights who knows how to shut a festival down. STS9 makes their highly anticipated debut Snow festival appearance which is sure to be one to remember. Rowdytown headliner, fellow Colorado Native Big Gigantic are set to unleash their new stage setup. The man bringing real hip-hop back to American mainstream… Kendrick Lamar. One of our favorite rising Electro stars Porter Robinson is set to have a epic headlining performance. Datsik will probably drop bass louder then you have ever heard.. literally. Flying Lotus is one of the most intelligent producers and will take you too another world with his future sounding productions. The collaboration project between GRiZ and Gramatik aka Grizmatik will be performing their first official festival performance with live production. Yes the title is correct. Amendment 64 just got passed in the election last night. Meaning that on January 1st in Colorado Marijuana will be legal. Anyone over the age of 21 will be allowed to posses up to an 1 ounce of Marijuana.

To honor this historic occasion Colorado electronic duo and one of Thissongissick’s favorites Big Gigantic droped a fresh new track “Colorado Mountain High”. This massive bass packed track featuring some samples from Lil Wayne creates potentially one of the best hardest hitting Colorado anthems I’ve ever heard. Mumford & Sons have been added as another great group to play at one of my favorite venues in the world, Red Rocks Amphitheater. This video shows them playing their newest single “I Will Wait” live, and with such energy. I missed this show and was regretting the second I saw friends instagramming how amazing it looked, and the regret has only gotten to an absolute max after seeing this video. Today I’ve got another amazing new video, this time showcasing the epic new light setup from Big Gigantic. This video done by Cinesthetics, caught their soldout Boulder Theater and Denver Ogden Theater shows. We already showcased the new lights from their Chicago NYE show, but this video really lets you see how epic the setup is. You can see the unique light hive that surrounds both Dom and Jeremy as the play live Sax and drums in middle. I can tell this is going to blow peoples minds all over the country throughout this next year.
