2012 is coming to an end and there are some incredible events to be attending this New Years Eve, and we are in the holiday spirit. Light All Night in Dallas and Snow Globe in Lake Tahoe, and then Decadence takes the place for the best electronic event in the Rocky Mountain area in Denver, Colorado taking place at the luxarious Colorado Convention Center. Last year the event hosted Flux Pavillion & Doctor P, Bad Boy Bill & Feed Me among others. This year year the event 2 rooms featuring Zeds Dead, Mimosa, Flosstradamus, ATB, Wolfgang Gartner, Krewella & Paul Basic among others. Dillon Francis Wet & Reckless Tour Dates

Skrillex teamed up with Damian Marley earlier this year to make a ground breaking collaboration “Make It Bun Dem”. Besides blending reggae and dubstep in ways nobody though was possible, it also seriously put Damian Marley back on the map. We featured the After Hours remix package of the track featuring some very eerie and chaotic tracks from producer like Alvin Risk and Brodinski. Now the track got a full production music video with an interesting twist as usual (see above). It shows a family getting evicted, then a native american boy doing a rain dance, then gets suited up with feathers and lets loose a fiery dragon out of his chest. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite video from Skrill, but it’s defintely pretty interesting.Read further for details on the new ‘Make It Bun Dem’remix contest

Think you have what it takes to make the next remix of “Make It Bun Dem” by Skrillex and Damian Marley? Now’s your chance to prove it in the Official Remix Contest. Skrillex is giving out the stems of the track (download here) for you to make an official remix, submissions run till September 18th, and then submissions and voting runs till October 29th. So if you’re in the Colorado area you’ve probably heard, but we are helping out a couple different CO companies bring in a real legendary show. It’s Madeon opening up for Axwell from Swedish House Mafia at The Ogden Theater in Denver, Colorado. Both of these artists that are in between playing Coachella sets (last weekend and next weekend) we’re playing the same night and the show got merged into a HUGE show that anybody even remotely close to Denver doesn’t want to miss. I’ve seen Madeon play at SnowGlobe and Ultra, and both times were a blast. As for Axwell, I’m sure he’s got some surprises in store. See below about purchasing tickets, and entering to win some.

We’ve got a suprise guest added, one of Colorado’s rising electro house stars James Egbert. We just featured his recent THISSONGISSICK x Ultra Mix which has been getting a ton of love. He’s played alongside Zedd, Wolfgang Gartner, and Avicii, as well as playing main stage at Red Rocks at this past summers Global Dance Festival. This is going to be the perfect way to rage after the first day, starting at 1am, and going to the early hours. Can’t believe how big the site has gotten over the past, well almost 2 years now. In the past few months we’ve been working and parternering up with some really cool people to help bring some TSIS concerts everywhere. South Carolina is up next, we’ve teamed up with Glowfest to bring Big Gigantic, 3LAU, The Dean’s List, and Coyote Kisses to University of South Carolina. The venue is going to be at the Township Auditorium, and takes place next Tuesday February 7th! Get tickets here.
