The French production artists Daft Punk have announced a very special release just in time for the holiday season. The godfathers of electronic music are giving us their hyped 'Alive 2007' album as a much needed double-vinyl package with a 52-page book. Dropping on December 22nd, the album was recorded in Paris as part of the duo's 2006/2007 tour – Alive - their return to the stage after a 10 year live hiatus, which also debuted their game changing pyramid stage set up. It is a pivotal live mix, whether you were at the shows or hearing of this for the very first time, and experiencing this two hour musical journey via the full and warm sounds of vinyl is a must.
Let it be known that the album has won two grammys including 'Best Electronic Album' and 'Best Electronic Single'. Also coinciding with Alive 2007, the group will simultaneously re-release 'Live 1997' also on wax. We can't wait to hear the album and check out what's inside the 52-page 'Alive 2007' book.
'Alive 2007' tracklist:
'Television Rules The Nation'
'Around The World'
'Harder Better Faster Stronger'
'Face To Face'
'One More Time'
'Forget About The World'
'Prime Time Of Your Life'
'Rollin’ And Scratchin''
'Human After All'
Daft Punk are responsible for some of the most notable dance anthems ever created; this undeniable fact has historically seen few producers step up to the challenge of remixing or bootleging any of their tracks. Earlier this year, we saw Dillon Francis step up to the plate and flip an official remix to "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", turning it into a bass heavy trap banger that tore up festivals all summer.
Today we have an exciting new bootleg from producer duo Black Boots. Delivering an impressive remix of the Daft Punk classic "One More Time" we speculate that it could even be deemed official. There is definitely some strong Flume influence in this future bass rendition of the track; highlighting the original vocals and melody while managing to turn it into a completely new track. Listen below and grab a free download. Enjoy!

Last week we first previewed an exciting clip of the official music video for “Gust Of Wind”, a second collaboration between Pharrell and Daft Punk after their massive "Get Lucky" release. You now can watch the full cinematic journey in all its glory directed by Edgar Write, responsible for flicks like "Shaun of the Dead" and the upcoming Ant-Man among others.
The video sees Pharrell in some far off forest with his ranger hat and all moving around as dancers fly in every which direction. We then see Daft Punk represented by giant stone molds of their helmets lift up from the ground and float around while singing their chorus. The video is very well done, and leaves the viewer craving to see more Daft Punk by the end of it, which closes out with a climatic appearance of an outline of the famed robots in the sky at the very end. Watch below and you can pick up your copy on iTunes. Enjoy!
After Pharrell collaborated with the French duo Daft Punk on two songs (Get Lucky & Loose Yourself To Dance) from their grammy winning album, he brought the guys out to collaborate on a song for his own album that saw incredible success. The song "Gust Of Wind" exploded when it hit the internet earlier this year, and now Pharrell has brought the amazing track to life.
He has enlisted director Edgar Wright responsible for movies like "Shaun Of The Dead" and "Scott Pilgrim Versus The World" to direct the film.
Today we get to see the first preview teaser of the music video with Pharrell in his now signature ranger hat, fitting for him walking through some forest surroundings. We then see some oversized rock sculptures of the Daft Punk helmets and the video leaves us on the edge of our seat driving us wild until we can see the rest. With Edgar Wright responsible for directing this, we can expect an eerie, movie quality sci-fi journey with Pharrell and the Daft Punk robots brought to life like never before.. at least we can hope.
What do you think the video will contain? Watch and comment below:

Daft Punk fans could be in store for some new music as Guy-Manuel Homem-Christo is said to be working on a solo album of his own.
Reported by French publication Tungi, we have the broken translation of the news: "According to our sources, one half of Daft Punk , Guy-Manuel Homem-Christo , is currently register a solo album in the near western suburbs of Paris. Of course, no release date has yet been scheduled, but what is already known is that it will be full of guests on this album".
The producers have rarely created music outside of their work as Daft Punk, so a full album is extremely exciting. Should we be expecting a cast of the amazing French artists he has worked on in the past like when he helped with Sebastian Tellier's "Sexuality" and or Kavinsky's irritable "Nightcall" (Listen below).

It is looking like something very cool is coming and we will keep you updated as more info rolls through.
[PREMIERE] Pharrell Williams ft Daft Punk – Gust Of Wind (Autograf Remix) : Future House / Disco [Free Download]Posted in Chill, News, Premieres by Bryan | Tags: Autograf, Daft Punk, Free Download, Future house, Pharrell, Pharrell Williams
Its become almost customary with every new Autograf remix for the trio of mysterious producers to outdo themselves from previous releases (Marvin Gaye's "Grapevine" and Stevie Wonder's "Superstition") each time and today we are honored to premiere their latest offering for your audible pleasure. With Pharrell Williams recent studio album G I R L inspiring a number of artists to takeover tracks from the release, Autograf have boldly stepped to plate to turn out a future house rendition of "Gust Of Wind" which was originally produced by Grammy winning duo Daft Punk.
The shear amount of good vibes oozing over the beat is enough to have you dancing uncontrollably as the trio implement a catchy glitch synth pattern and disco elements into the rhythm. This of course coincides with the distortion of Pharrell's vocals perfectly, making for one sensational remix with endless playability throughout the summer. But wait… there are more goods to come from Autograf this season as this release marks the debut of their "Future Summer" remix series; so stream the track below, grab a free download on us, and look out for more music coming soon! There's no denying the international star power between electronic music pioneers Daft Punk and hip-hops great Jay-Z, but unbeknownst to many of us untill today the iconic artists came together to collaborate on a track during a supposed studio session with Kanye West producing for the Tron Soundtrack. "Computerized" is every bit as awesome as you'd expect, with Daft Punk turning back time to lay down a classic electro funk beat similar to pre-Random Access Memories days with splashes of catchy synth patterns and keyboard samples galore while Jay-Z lays down verse after verse with flawless ease.
This potential blockbuster has every media source searching for the factual nature of this track since it surfaced over the weekend, but unlike most bootlegs previously touted as Daft Punk originals, this sounds extremely legitimate and also raises the question of why this was track was scraped from a release. Stream the track below and stay on the look for more info as soon it becomes available. Enjoy

Daft Punk Win 5 Grammys Including ‘Album of the Year’ With Special Live Performance (Video) with Pharrell and Stevie WonderPosted in Bangin, News, Video by nick | Tags: Daft Punk, Get Lucky, Grammys, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell, Pharrell Williams, Random Access Memories, Stevie Wonder, Video
Wow Daft Punk just did some serious damage at the 56th Annual Grammys, taking home all 5 awards they were nominated for. The most earth shattering of them all was taking home the most prestegious award of the entire ceremony, Album of the Year for their album Random Access Memories; as well as Best Dance / Electronica Album, Best Engineered Album, Record Of The Year and Best Pop Duo / Group Performance for their single with Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers , "Get Lucky". This is a landmark statement for electronic music overall as it is the first ever electronic / dance album in the Grammys history to get both nominated and win best album overall.
The producer / DJ duo also made their triumphant return to the stage with their first performance in years on TV worldwide as they took to the stage with assistance from Pharrell (Wearing an oversized hat that stirred up Twitter "Beef" with Arby's), Nile Rodgers and even brought out musical legend Stevie Wonder for an energetic performance that had a audience full of celebrities rocking out. We can hope this means we can expect some Daft Punk live shows possibly by the end of the year? Maybe 2015? At least this restores faith that the French dream team still have an interest in playing more live shows in the future.

Skrillex has jump started his 2014 by taking a trip down under to perform a string of shows in Australia while jumping in the studio with Flume and Emoh Instead of What So Not. The Grammy winning Producer / DJ made a pit stop at the infamous Triple J radio studio’s and shared juicy details on what he has in store for the music community, the first time he “lost his shit” seeing Daft Punk live, and hitting the studio with Flume and Emoh of What So Not (pictured above).
“I’ll be seeing Flume into the studio tomorrow, so maybe we’ll make something, who knows?…. I mean technically What So Not is the artist on the [Shore Thing] lineup, so maybe we can do some stuff with all of us”
By the sound of it, Skrillex is fully motivated to finish up music for his next big release which should be his debut album and it’s only a matter of time before we’re hit by another surprise attack of new music. Check out the interview below and watch Skrillex going b2b with What So Not live in Sydney, Australia! Enjoy

A complete overhaul of one of 2013 most memorable tracks to end the year is precisely what up and coming New York native Mystress has conjured up on his latest release. The producer dared to dabble in uncharted territories by stripping Daft Punk’s sensational “Get Lucky” hit of its funk and disco vibes; opting to inject a healthy amount of bass, a dash of live guitar and a saxophone addition Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic would be proud of. What Mystress has created is more than your everyday remix, but a reimagining that will have you fall in love with “Get Lucky” all over again.
