The release of A$AP Rocky‘s debut album Long.Live.A$AP is creeping up, and we get one the most real songs A$AP has made to date. “Phoenix” is a piano powered spacey ballad produced by the legendary Danger Mouse. Rocky drops his guard touching on some real topics including his past and present and mentioning past american music icons Michael Jackson and Kurt Cobain. It is a refreshing change of pace of his party tracks showing signs of a true artist. I think it’s safe to say that A$AP is on his way up with the release of this album January 15th. My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com.
