SnowBall 2014 Lineup

T he music festival SnowBall claimed its fame by bringing a ridiculous lineup of artists to perform in the mountain towns of Vail and Winter Park. Now the event has moved to a new home right in the heart of Denver, Colorado. The festival will be turning The Park at Mile High at Sports Authority Field into a winter wonderland taking place over the weekend of April 4th – 6th

The lineup had to be strong to coincide with the move, but they have delivered. Bringing in some of Colorado's heroes Pretty Lights, GRiZ and the Pretty Lights Music cast begins to set the tone just right. Then mix in some great DJs, live bands and rappers and this sounds like a party no one can miss out on. Featuring acts Knife PartyKill the Noise, MK, Earl Sweatshirt, Busta Rhymes, YeasayerClockworkThomas Jack, Henry FongTrippy Turtle, The Floozies, LuniceBrother Ali, Twin Shadow, MiMOSA, Kap Slap and so many more. See the Full Lineup After the Jump Below. And there are a few 3-day passes for $129.95 (or $299.95 for VIP) you can grab while still available here. Stay tuned with us and SnowBall for any lineup additions, late night parties and more info!

GRIZ at The Ogden Theater 3/1/13 Presented by Thissongissick.com | Photos, Tickets, and Bonus The Who Remix

Posted in Bangin, Events, News by nick | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

GRiZ is an artist we have loved supporting over the past year and half ever since premiering his “Where Is The Love” track. We have enjoyed watching him as an artist really explode. We got to be apart of bringing GRiZ to The Fox Theatre here in Boulder, and if didn’t go you may have heard about the historic show where he brought out his own production full of lights, lasers and more. We are happy to announce that we are helping out with his next legendary Colorado show, this time down in Denver.

On March 1st, GRiZ will be taking over  The Ogden Theater in Denver which is one of the coolest indoor venues in Colorado. He has told us that he is going to be unveiling his even newer bigger production that is sure to be even better then before (See pictures above / below). The supporting artists have not been announced yet, but I would imagine somehow dope. See below for details and music.

His last Colorado show in Boulder at The Fox Theater SOLD OUT in under 5 hours after going on sale. Although this venue is around 3 times the size of The Fox, tickets are already half sold out. They are also on sale now for $17 while they last. Don’t wait and get forced to buy tickets over face value. Trust us when we say this is going to be a night to remember, you don’t want to miss out. Also included is an exclusive remix from GRiZ of The Who – “Behind Blue Eyes”.

 Purchase Tickets Here: http://www.ogdentheater.net/eventdetail.php?id=39410

UPDATE: The show is completely SOLD-OUT! There will be 30 tickets left at the door day of show for $20. They will be on a first come first serve basis. Thanks everyone who grabbed a ticket in time! This is going to one to remember!

Follow GRiZ through Facebook and Twitter

Here is a sampling of some of the latest GRiZ tunes, including a bonus throwback exclusive remix to The Who – “Blue Eyes” that we featured on our SnowBall 2012 Mixtape last year, which is pretty cool because Griz will be one of the headliners at this year’s SnowBall Music Festival as Grizmatik (Griz + Gramatik).

Story

My story has changed quite a lot since moving to Boulder, Colorado and starting Thissongissick back in 2010. My name is Nick Guarino and this is Thissongissick.com. We've grown a lot since, but the original goal has always stayed the same: making it easier for you to discover sick new music that you've never heard before. In high school I would make mix cd's for my friends to show them all the new music I was discovering. Now, through TSIS, we work with musicians and record labels from all over the world to showcase a variety of the freshest electronic, hip-hop, indie, and alternative music to a global following that is comprised of millions of music lovers in over 110 countries - every single month. So, make yourself at home while enjoying countless amazing musicians from a variety of genres and let the sick sounds fill your ears! - Nick
