Decadence Bassnectar Big Gigantic Zedd Grizmatik

By shear number of attendee's, Decadence in Denver, CO has become the biggest New Years dance music event in the country by continually bringing an elite list of producers / DJs and live acts to perform at the Colorado Convention Center in the heart of downtown. As they prepare for their 4th year, the organizers have already unveiled a jaw dropping lineup of headliners including Bassnectar, Armin van Buuren, Big Gigantic, Disclosure, GRIZMATIK (GRiZ + Gramatik), Kaskade, and Zedd amongst many others to be announced soon. There's also buzzing support acts like Paper DiamondFlux PavilionDJ Mustard, W&W, and Lindsay Lowend that fill up the bill nicely. Rumors of GRIZMATIK and Big Gigantic gearing up for a very special BIG GRIZMATIK set, which would be their third ever performance together and the first outside of Electric Forest in 2013, have already circulated as the hype from the initial announcement continues.Tickets are on sale now, so purchase a pair or two before the price increases closer to the event.

Disclosure's "Latch" has become an international hit from the duo's grammy nominated album Settle. The song has been brought back to life time & time again by a multitude of artists, and now none other than world renowned rapper Schoolboy Q delivers a brand new remix to the song. The combination of his flowful verses over towards the end of the deep house anthem is suprising yet manges to come together nicely. It would be cool to see the artists actually get in the studio and create something that sounded more natural and organic. Hear the first listen below and look out for a release soon, details getting updated as they come in. Many of us have been lead to believe that the days of the "mashup" (mashing two songs) are all but dusted, but NYC duo The White Panda have moved into original material like their remix of The White Stripes, but are also still perfecting the art of mashing up songs into something new. The duo have brought together the infectious vocals from Disclosure's deep house anthem "Latch" and blended them perfectly with the instrumental and vocals from Mike Posner's throwback single "Cooler Than Me". We've all come to go a little crazy when details of a new Disclosure release breaks, but can you really blame us? The UK garage / deep house brotherly duo's track record for delivering feel good tunes for everyone to play on repeat is still at 100% and they recently had the internet going nuts after uploading a picture of R&B / pop icon Usher sporting their signature "Disclosure Face". Now we have the full unveiling as Disclosure share a scintillating remix of Ushers latest hit single "Good Kisser" as the guys implant an infectious deep house melody and house synths over the original vocals to perfection. The feels are just too much to handle as this summertime playlist turn up is bound to be flexed over a holiday weekend stateside and through the summer! House duo Disclosure are known to have a strong hip-hop and r&b influence from their shocking essential mix to bringing out Mary J. Blige on the official remix of "F For You". Well the boys have done it yet again re-working Pharrell's classic track Frontin' featuring Jay-Z giving it their infectious house flavor. The result sounds so natural you'd think this was the result of a studio session between all the artists. Next rapper to explode out of the booming Chicago hip-hop scene is Vic Mensa who has just unleashed a genre defying new original. The new song "Down On My Luck" features some Disclosure-esque house production from Stefan Ponce. Vic switches between rapping and singing throughout all perfectly synched in tune with the dance inspired beat. The result is a unique combination of genres and styles that couldn't work better. I know, I know, another remix of "Latch" from Disclosure? Well after hearing this rendition from emerging Norwegian producer Lido, we knew it needed to be posted without question! Lido has taken the chart smashing deep house / uk garage anthem and given it a smooth yet energetic remix; tossing in elements of trap, future-bass and more.
