Joey Bada$$$ – Unorthadox (Ft. Dj Premier) (Music Video) + (Unedited Version) : Must Hear Hip-Hop

Joey Bada$$ earlier this year let loose “Unorthodox”, one of his best tracks to date recruiting the legendary DJ Premier to produce the beat. The result was a shining promise that real hip-hop does exist in America. The powerful song got a full music video treatment featuring both Joey and DJ Premier around the city with light effects adding a playful edge. The original version that posted was an edited copy, which although was still great, took away from the story Joey was trying to tell. So we have been lucky enough to get the “dirty” unedited version of the track to you can hear it in it’s raw form. Enjoy!

Joey Bada$$ – Unorthodox (Produced by DJ Premier) : Must Hear Hip-Hop

Joey Bada$$ is without a doubt one of the hottest new rappers on the rise. He just collaborated with the legendary DJ Premier for his latest dose of real hip-hop. This track “Unorthadox” is one of those songs that while you listening, you drop everything you are doing to focus on the lyrics. The production from DJ Premier captures that true New York hip-hop sound and is perfect for Joey to completely wreck with his flow-filled lyricism. These two were meant two work together, and I can not wait to hear more from the duo. This has been giving out as a free download thanks to Green Label Sound which is Mountain Dew’s free label, which despite the corporate tie, is still an incredibly dope free song. Sit back and enjoy one of the best hip-hop tracks you have heard in some time. Enjoy!
